Every day, in our life we learn new things, from school, friends and by ourselves. Take an example of me, my transformative educational experience had thought me skills that I can use for my rest of my life career. Within every subject at school, reading, writing, and chemistry posed a big challenge for me during my high school years. I excel in most subjects, but these three were the hardest to get. The key solution to my problem was to put my mind to it and do very best that I can. This wasn’t easy and I couldn’t do it by myself, there were several factors that allowed me to overcome the difficulties and excel in all subjects. At the reading I was horrible, I couldn’t understand anything I read “What’s the purpose behind reading?”

Focus 2 Assignment – Reflection Upon completing the Focus 2 career assessment program, I am quite impressed at the quality of information it presents. It allowed me to not only look at careers that would fit my personality, but also those that take into consideration the fields I am already interested in. Also, as with any form of self-assessment, there were strengths and weaknesses that I did not expect based on how I feel I live my life currently. Goals, what are goals? Goals, for some, are the driving force that help people get out of bed in the morning. Majority of the FAF conversation was about fieldwork since that is what has posed the most difficulty for me. I live in Los Angeles, California and the competition is very competitive especially with brick and mortar schools. I have sent my portfolio out to over a dozen locations and most of them had said they are already full and won’t have openings until next year. Hello class, Well let me start off by saying English is one of my toughest subjects, my writing process is still in process. I like to read material that catches my attention. If it does not catch my attention I will have a hard time trying to read the material. Also the same with writing.

This clinical experience has really helped me to sharpen my communication skills and realize just how important it is to understand mental health. We are told multiple times in class that mental health issues can be seen on any floor and that is the truth. I’ve seen patients in my older adult clinical on the pulmonary floor suffer from issues that range from anxiety to bipolar disorder and depression. Being able to understand how to approach people that suffer from these types of illnesses, allows us, the nurses, to give the patient the best care that we can. It helps to build a trusting relationship and get to know them on a personal level.

Team Work - I 've felt like I work very well in teams, although I do also work well alone, it feels great working alongside people who can help you get a job done efficiently and easily, especially if you grow to like those people which in my past experiences has always been the case; so I 'm very used to working with teams. Maturity - I believe maturity extends far beyond what a lot of people would interpret it as. It accounts for more than just not laughing at immature jokes and being able to be professional when faced with a task. Sensitivity and empathy I think are two important traits which come along with the idea of maturity. Sensitivity, of course, accounts for how one talks to others, I 'm sure we 're all very tired of seeing staff members on other servers that are there just for the purpose of saying they got a moderator position on that server so when it comes to moderating, they 're very lethargic with their work and can be emotionless when monotonously speaking with you.
