Attending Georgia Military College helps students prepare themselves for the future. Georgia Military College organization makes students consider the future, while they successfully grow toward graduating. As I continue to attend college and dedicatedly work towards the future, it is up to me to decide the goals that I am striving to work for, whether they are college, career, or lifetime goals. All goals have to be worked for, which means that they are certain tasks that have to be completed in order to pursue those goals. Participating in Dual Enrollment has given me the early college experience I need as a high school student. One of my short-term college goals consist of graduating from high school and Georgia Military College in 2019 as a senior at Wilkinson County High School. This way I can receive a high school diploma and an associates degree in general studies earlier than most colleges expect. Georgia offers multiple scholarships that students could qualify for based on their academics, depending on their grade point average. Zell Miller and Hope Scholarship pays for high schools students’ college tuition, book, and other miscellaneous fees for free in any college resided in Georgia. After achieving these important milestones in my life, I plan to set the next goal by getting accepted into my dream college, Georgia Southern University. Georgia Southern University is ranked the number four nursing program in the state of Georgia, which leads to me pursuing my career goals. My lifetime goals consists of being financially stable throughout my whole entire life. Being financially comfortable in my life will allow me to achieve certain lifetime goals such as buying a house, purchasing a car, traveling around the world, and maintaining financial stability.
