Personal Statement For Seniors I am the type of person that has always thought outside the box. I 've never been afraid to succeed in what possibly my friends and family have never delt or ventured into. I am 5 years younger than my older brother, 4 years younger than my sister and 8 years older than my younger brother. I have a friend whom I though was anorexic just because she was skinny. She never ate meat and never ate much of whatever it is she was given. She would always say to me “Nwaku I am getting fat. They won’t like me.” My young naïve mind thought she was referring to boys.

In recent years, I have had the opportunity to gain new insights about the different characteristics of international politics and societal issues. Not only through university studies in Political Science (focusing on security and crisis management) but also through my engagement in extra curricular activities at the National Defense University in Stockholm, for example my positions of trust at the student council. I have a passion for these issues and that is why I strive for a career in this field. The actions of global actors such as governments, organizations and corporations have a huge impact on how our societies shape and develop.

I have been interested in the field of psychology for some years now. My interest derived from myself and my own personality. Developing during adolescence has left me with many questions. Middle school marked a transitional period in my life where I become self aware. Before this time I'd only connected differences in appearance as what made people unique.

When I think of my future I think of getting married and having a family. This means that I will have to find someone that I’m interested in. The five traits that I will look for in someone will be kind hearted. This is a big thing because I need someone that will be nice to me and treat my kids politely.
