For years schools have bonded through sports programs, now they think they should get rid of them. Being a student in school is harder that it has ever been. The academic standards are so high, it can feel paralyzing. That's why it is so important for schools to invest in sports programs now and in the future. Schools should keep sports programs because sports relieve stress on kids and makes kids look forward to going to school.
Physical education, exercise science, and sports professionals all play a significant role in getting students, clients, and players to meet the goals and objectives of Healthy People 2020 and The Surgeon General’s Vision for a Healthy and Fit Nation. Having a healthy lifestyle starts at an early phase in life. According to the text, “Adolescence is an important age for developing health habits that will persist into adulthood (79).” With that said, in order for them to have that healthy lifestyle they must become educated about the risks of inactivity as early as possible. Physical education is an “ongoing process of learning” that is incorporated in schools so that students learn to use that knowledge throughout their lives and also learn to enjoy doing it.

Athletic Trainer From a sprained ankle on the soccer field to a stoved finger in a basketball game all injuries are important, no matter how big or small. There has to be someone to take care of the injured athletes. These people are known as athletic trainers. With only being one year away, it is important that I begin to make choices on what I want to do after I graduate high school. Dear Editor, I am Writing to express my opinion on the issue of having physical education grades affect your total grade point average. Some may argue that children will take gym classes more seriously now that they know that their grade in that class will affect their overall grade. But if those students did not try before then they must not be students that will change their mind over a grade. People may also say that some children perform better in physical activities then in academics, but academics are always more important than sports. Even if you are a professional football player you are going to need some form of education to get into a good college or have a good job.

Fees are good for school sports because the money that parents pay for their child to play a sport goes towards equipment for that sport. In the text, it said “ A lack of money has forced some schools to charge students and parents for courses and books. Free books and classes are more important than free sports programs. Schools should charge students for sports before they make them pay for books and classes. After all, education should come first at schools.
There are public schools all over the world and those in public schools are not getting the proper education that they need. It seems public schools only provide the public with the bare minimum. This bare minimum can become very discouraging to parents, students and the entire public community in which the school is. Most Supreme Court rulings agree that school districts across the nation, and across the world, really only need to provide the bare minimum legally. This present an issue, if the professionals are only supposed to give the bare minimum then they themselves will be given the bare minimum.
Besides a coach an athletic trainer is the right hand man to an athlete. As an athletic trainer there are many tasks that keep us going. One is the athletes themselves and all of the requests they come in and demand. From recovering from an injury to preventing a life long injury from reoccurring trainers are always on the move. Prioritizing, viewing a wide variety of injuries, and differing work fields are just a few of the benefits that you get when you are a trainer.
A study shows that “The exercise programs may actually enhance the development of specific types of mental processing known to be important, for meeting challenges encountered both in academics and later in life.” Also, the athletes are improved since high school. The best part of sports is that you can improve major parts of your life, which is physical health, psychological health, social skills, and academic
