Dear Editor, I am Writing to express my opinion on the issue of having physical education grades affect your total grade point average. Some may argue that children will take gym classes more seriously now that they know that their grade in that class will affect their overall grade. But if those students did not try before then they must not be students that will change their mind over a grade. People may also say that some children perform better in physical activities then in academics, but academics are always more important than sports. Even if you are a professional football player you are going to need some form of education to get into a good college or have a good job. Many children perform exceptionally in academics but their

In these passages they 're speaking on whether psas ' is a good thing or can it be beneficial. Passage 1 is trying to prove that these commercials are good. Passage 2 is trying to prove that this can be good or bad but basically saying beneficial. Passage 1 is correct if you ask me. If they are trying to put in kids head that drugs and alcohol can hurt you then kids will not use them.
Through Thoreau’s entire essay, “Reading”, revolves around the idea of reading being the way to immortality. He calls for a new society, one that does not focus on the materialistic things in life, but instead on creating an intellectual human culture. Thoreau believes that neither property nor money are true inheritances, but that “books are the treasured wealth of the world and the fit inheritance of generations and nations.” (82). This passage demonstrates Thoreau’s idea of society’s way of aiming too low, instead of striving to read well.
1) I could not find a Thesis. Although kids who participate in sports have less time for homework and studying after school, they tend to be more successful in the classroom.
