Introduction
As indicated by Leach and Helf (2016), a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) describes a cohesive, tiered system of education that utilizes results-focused, problem-solving procedures that integrate standards-based instruction, behavioural teaching, intervention, acceleration, and extension. This system of integrated instruction and intervention is delivered to students at three levels of intensities, based on each student’s needs. with tiers two and three individualized to specific identified student deficits.
The three-tier intervention model comprises of Tier 1 which delivers high quality instruction to all students, Tier 2 which contains interventions for identified struggling students and Tier 3 individualized interventions for students who have failed to gain process in the lower tiers. Students themselves do not fit into tiers of support, instead, their needs are addressed in the tiers reviewed to be appropriate.
Objectives of MTSS
The MTSS model is designed and based on evidence-based supports that aid schools in focusing on high-quality interventions which are frequently monitored. This framework ensures that behavioral and academic

Also, it will integrate team systems and structures such as SAT, SIT, CARE, SST, TAT. Additionally, MTSS will actively involve families from the beginning and throughout the process. That notwithstanding, it will assess and monitor progress in all domains of learning and behavior. Providing effective instruction to all students who need intervention, acceleration, and/or extension in a timely and strategic manner will be another benefit. Lastly, MTSS will increase district educators’ access to a wide range of evidence-based instructional

In the module one assessment, I stated that the area of need in my school’s literacy program was motivation and support given to students who come from a low socioeconomic home. 87% of students who attend Blue Ridge Elementary live in a low poverty situation, are homeless, or are in a foster home. These students do not receive motivation and support that students who are not living in poverty get ("Blue Ridge Elementary State Report Card", 2015). In grades 3-5, 131 students tested in the “in need of support” range (“Blue Ridge Elementary State Report Card”, 2015). Of my eighteen second grade students, 44% of the students met or exceeded their end of the year goal.
http://doi.org/10.1007/s11113-014-9329-6 The main purpose of this article was to determine if there was a discrepancy between gays and lesbians raising a child and a man and women raising a child. The key question of this article was, does the wellbeing of a child in a same-sex marriage differ from that of a different-sex marriage? This article was an analysis of the findings and critiques of literature on child wellbeing and same sex parents. Also analyzed were over forty studies on the controversial topic.
In this article, Ferriter (2009) reveals many benefits from the use of technology in the classroom with our 21st-century learners. The resources and suggestions mentioned throughout this reading will assist teachers in ways to avoid problems and becoming engaging instructors by using technology in innovative ways. What I found was so innovative by this approach was by creating a network of innovative co-learners where collaboration takes place regularly, Ferriter (2009), is able to experiment with digital connections without ever meeting other teachers in person. Not only is this beneficial for students and teachers all over the world, but also simple. What I found was unique and useful was the worldwide collaboration that helps teachers explore skills and dispositions that assisted with the network cooperation by creating shared content.

I- Globalization is irreversible because embedded in the economy structure A. Globalization appears to be irreversible due to the dependence of economies vis-à-vis globalization. Despite a decline, due to the economic crisis, since the 90’s, the sum of exports and imports is now higher than 50% of global production; France for example double its trade openness going from 15% in the 1980’s to more than 35% in 2010. It traduces the dependence of national economy compare to the rest of the world, exportations being an essential component in the global demand. We can then consider that globalization is like embedded in global economy structure based nowadays on interdependence relations between nations. Another example of this dependence is the rise of the FDI stock that rose from less than 2 trillion dollars in the 1990 to more than 15 trillion dollars in 2015.
There are several methods of delivery for school-based interventions depending on the population that they wish to affect, which can result in varying levels of effectiveness. They can be delivered universally or can be targeted towards students identified as at-risk for particular disorders or problem behaviors (Franklin et al. 2012). In universal interventions, all students participate in the intervention, regardless of their level of risk. For example, Bierman et al. (2010) performed a study on a universal SEL program called Fast Track PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies), which was delivered to all students in the first through the third grade.
Recent legislation requires schools to implement a Response to Intervention (RTI) model that is based on multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). The goal of RTI is to identify students early who are struggling academically or behaviorally and provide appropriate interventions to prevent these challenges from becoming more serious and detrimental to their success. Under the traditional system, students may not receive extra services until a problem becomes severe, and they meet criteria for a special education qualification. RTI helps schools identify children earlier using systematic and scientific universal screeners of all children. Therefore, RTI gives students who are at-risk the opportunity to receive less intensive intervention services,

My research paper will be focusing on the HPA (Hypothalamus-Pituitary Gland-Adrenal Gland) axis activation in response to stress with a focus on the harmful side effects of the end product of the HPA axis, cortisol hormone. I would also like to bring to attention how stress response can vary in different individuals with certain predisposition that can cause them to have severe physical responses to stress later in life, such as diabetes and cardiac health issues. My lens will be focusing on how college students, in particular, cope with stress while highlighting which coping methods they are using and evaluating how effective they are. RtI or Response to Intervention is using quality instruction and intervention to prevent students from receiving services they do not need or services they do. The basis for this essay is to discuss the basics of RtI and the many facets that are involved, although not all inclusive it will give the reader a good overview and information to promote more research and understanding. RtI is a format for schools to use drawing on data and meta-analysis to help teachers recognize students who are at risk (primarily in reading and math) and to eliminate the over recommendation of students to testing when it is not needed. RtI uses a three tiered system that helps to move a student to where they need to be without disrupting the class on a whole
