What I found was unique and useful was the worldwide collaboration that helps teachers explore skills and dispositions that assisted with the network cooperation by creating shared content. These are the type of skills our students must develop and need to become contributing parts of our society where they will thrive on the collaboration and learning from others, with the use of technology our 21st-century learners will be able to network with all ages. …show more content…

It is also a developing field of business strategy that focuses on products, services, and enterprises that serve those 4-5 billion people. The efforts in trying to solve the issue of poverty have been misguided.

Statement of Intent: Urvashi Butalia’s article ‘India’s elites have a ferocious sense of entitlement’ published in the ‘New Internationalist magazine’, January 2013 issue, is a critique of the domineering influence by a few rich people over the poor people. But the deep divide of classes is not a good sign for growth and progress in India. This act requires teamwork. My coursework is a letter to the concerns raised by Urvashi Butalia, with an insistence that the duty for change lies as much with the rich classes as with the economically emerging classes of people. “Who in India would have the temerity to study the rich?”

As I thought of creating a technological vision statement for the East Penn School District I wanted to not merely focus on the devices and utilitarian aspects thereof. My five tenets of focus of educational technology are student-centered learning, flexible learning environments, devices, access and professional development. Producing students that develop skills from fixed tasks, specific devices and pre-selected applications will no longer suffice.
