Last but not least, one of the widely used and well-established methods is an interview. An interview is a conversation between usually two people where questions are asked by the interviewer to elicit the facts or statements from the interviewee. Interviewing is considered as a qualitative method (Kumar, 2016,p.66), and it is a technique used to understand the experiences of others. Qualitative interviewing has many advantages. Possibly the greatest advantage is the depth of detail from the interviewee (Weiss, R.S. 1994). The interview provides a more intimate setting for discussions as well as it gives an opportunity to ask follow up questions.

But the aim in qualitative research makes emphasis on exploring diversity, and the sampling strategy and sample size do not play a significant role. (Kumar, 2016, p.318) Moreover, in qualitative research the collection of data goes until you feel that you have reached the saturation point.(Kumar,2016,p.318). First of all, the intensity and therefore the length of the qualitative interview will impact on the design of the qualitative sampling strategy (Amanda Wilmot, 2016). The agency that I reached out to for this project is a travel agency in Gainesville, Florida known as World Class Travel. The agency was established on November 1983 by its founder and president Robert Todd who was also the interviewee that I got in touch with for this research project (About WCT, 2009). The market segment that this agency targets is group tours and academic based excursions. This agency specializes in international travel, more specifically international airline booking. Three sampling methods involved in qualitative research include purposive sampling (researcher gathers participants based on what they know), snowball sampling (researcher gathers participants, participants contact other individuals to participate) and convenience sampling (researcher gathers participants who are available at the time). The best sampling method for semi-structured interviews would be purposive sampling, since the interview may involve particular topics which the participants must know in order for the experiment to have rich data. As mentioned before, interviewers conducting semi-structured interviews must undergo training in order for them to not suggest answers that the participant may infer. Training is also required for the interviewer to stray into other topics while still managing to follow the necessary topics. After the interview, it is vital that the researcher debriefs the participant.

An advantage of conducting a Survey is that it allows the researcher to collect a large amount of data over a short period of time. They can also be created and administered quickly and easily. A disadvantage of a Survey is that often times the answer choice on a survey may not reflect the participants true opinion. Data collecting method being used in this research is a qualitative research approach based on interviews. The interviews were done with a total of 10 foreigner students studying in Tianjin, China. In order for the interviewee to be comfortable, some of the interview was done in a quite environment. Aside from that due to their busy schedule, some of it was done through voice notes in WeChat (微信).
