Who’s to blame outline
The story of romeo and juliet is about two lovers who are willing to go to far extent for each other. Altho the tale tells a story about the two’s love for each other it also tells about their deaths and many others. Multiple were killed while being involved with the two. Such as Lady montigue, Mercutio, Tybolt, paris, and romeo and juliet themselves. Many played a factor in the twos death but the ones who made a significant impact was Mercutio and Romeo.
Mercutio is a reason to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet For example after Romeo and Juliet had gotten married Benvolio and Mercutio were loitering in the streets of Verona. Tybalt and the Capulets come along trying to find Romeo to look for a fight. Unlike Benvolio who chose to ignore the teasing remarks Tybalt was making Mercutio drew his sword out of anger. ”Good king of cats, nothing but one nothing but one of your nine lives that i

Romeo has done many things in this play that simply could have been avoided it makes us almost want ask if this all is the result of his own doing. For one Romeo was impulsive in his decision to marrie Juliet. He didnt even take the time to get to know her better or think about the outcome of marrinng your families enimie. “Young men's love then lies Not truly in their hearts, but in their eyes.” (2.3,67-68). Even Friar lawrence seen that Romeos intentions were impulsive and not smart. Romeo had knew Juliet less than 24 hours when he decided that he wanted to marrie her. His actions and the chain of events that come after them were of his own doing. Another example of Romoes consequences to his own actions is when he killed Tybolt. Sure he killed tybolt out of anger but he also did it out of his own free will. Nobody made Romeo kill Tybolt he did it himself and because of that he got banished from
While Romeo does not want to fight Tybalt, that does not stop him because “...this shall not excuse the injuries/ That thou hast done me; therefore, turn and draw!” (3.1, 156/157) This of course leads to the death of
When people are at fault, they tend to blame or shift that fault onto someone else to give them responsibility and make themselves look better. People resort to this method in order to The method of blaming was very essential for all of the story to be put together. If no one blamed each other, Romeo and Juliet would most likely be an entirely different story. The factors to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are Tybalt and Mercutio.
The life of Romeo and Juliet begins and follows a story of love blooming in this young couple, having nothing separating them from the desire for each other but their family rivalries reaching a new high with murderous intentions toward each other, so they need to fight through the rivery of their families to stay together. But this would soon end with Tybalt murdering Mercutio. Then Romeo, having to be fueled with anger and vengeance, killed Tybalt causing his banishment. Juliet being in the predicament of having to marry Paris without a choice, she goes to the only one who she thought would “help.” As most of everyone reading the story can confidently say most everyone is at fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo for showing up at the Capulet’s ball, but Mercutio being a faithful friend decided he would fight on the behalf of Romeo. Romeo steps in the middle of them and Tybalt ends up stabbing Mercutio under Romeo’s arms. Out of anger and wanting of revenge Romeo kills Tybalt and because of this is banished from Verona. ‘“Therefore use none: let Romeo hence in haste,”’ (3.1. 190). One would say Romeo is responsible for their deaths because if he had not been banished from Verona he would have not been far away from Juliet and Friar Laurence could have told him the Juliet’s plan in person.
Jordan Sherwood Ms. Holt Honors English 9 Who is to blame? Many have been blamed by various literary authors for the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet, including Mercutio, the Capulet and Montague families, Friar Lawrence, or Romeo and Juliet themselves. The correct answer to this question is the young lovers' families. However, to properly determine who is truly at fault, an examination of the reasons given for each of the listed characters must be done.
Who’s to Blame? How would you feel if your child was in an arranged marriage and then found out they are in love with someone else, then killed themselves because they love someone else? How would you feel if you knew someone had assisted them in the process of killing themself? Romeo and Juliet's parents probably have good answers to those questions.
One instance where Romeo is impulsive in killing both Mercutio and Tybalt. Romeo tries to stop a fight between Tybalt and Mercutio and makes Tybalt accidentally stab and kill Mercutio. Tybalt says “Thou, wretched boy, that didst consort him here,” blaming Romeo for making him kill Mercutio (3.1.121-122). Another example of Romeo acting impulsive is when he murders Tybalt right after. He is trying to avenge Mercutio, but the irony is that he was the one who caused his death.
Mercutio can be blamed for the death of Romeo and Juliet. Mercutio... Tybalt picked a fight with Mercutio, and in the end Mercutio was killed. Romeo decides to get revenge for Mercutio’s death and chases after Tybalt, but in the end accidentally kills Tybalt. Romeo feels guilty for killing Tybalt because he was now Romeo’s family and when he sees Juliet in the tomb along with Tybalt, he breaks down.
Avery Simmons Ms. Versaguis Language Arts 9 Hour 5 May 30th, 2023 The Blame Game In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Friar Laurence, Tybalt, and Romeo are the most to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The person most at fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is Friar Laurence.
Romeo acts impulsively too many times throughout the play, and was punished for it almost every time. He did not learn from his mistakes, and this would eventually cost him his family and his life. If he had not acted impulsively throughout the story, he would still be living and he would be living happily with
The Death of Star Crossed Lovers In the story Romeo And Juliet there are many deaths which were caused by different people for the same reasons. Two families divided with anger and frustration to one another which in turn caused the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Many characters in the story had played a part in the death, but the main reason behind the death of Romeo and Juilet was because of Lord Capulet, Friar Lawrence, and Juliet. All 3 Characters were to blame for the young and untimely deaths of the two star crossed lovers.
Who is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s Death? In the devastating romance, Romeo and Juliet shows an illustration of how young love is able to cause destruction, not only in their lives but also the people’s lives around them. It also shows how other actor’s thoughts affected the people close to them, but the main question is, who is responsible for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet? The death of Romeo and Juliet was not their fault but Friar Lawrence's. Friar is to blame, not only for one action that contributed to their death, but for three actions.
Imagine being held accountable for the deaths of two “star-struck” lovers. In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, one of the many questions asked is who is most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Personally I believe that the deaths cannot just be placed on one person. First off Mercutio can be at blame for the introduction of Juliet in to Romeo's Life. Secondly Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own deaths because of there irrational decisions.
Romeo was banished because he killed Tybalt. “O serpent heart hid with a flowering face! Did ever dragon keep so fair a cave? Beautiful tyrant! Fiend angelical!
Romeo makes a lot of stupid decisions that gets Juliet killed but I only need two to get my point across. Romeo shows his impulsiveness in his relationships with women, he seems to be unable to control his emotions when it comes to love. In the beginning of the play Romeo claims that he loves Rosaline and is depressed because Rosaline doesn’t love him back. Mercutio gets Romeo to go to the Capulet Ball so that he can cheer him up by finding a new girl that can peak his interests and the moment he sees Juliet he falls into deep and
