Imagine the love of your life dying and not being with her when she died this is what happened to Romeo. Romeo sneaks back into verone to see his wife and decides to die right next to Juliet his dead wife drinking poison to die. this makes it love responsible for romeo death Romeo's death was most directly effected by the love that he had for Juliet. The love that he had for Juliet was so strong that he directly killed himself for her. Romeo thought Juliet was dead so to protect her from the loneliness of death. He loved Juliet to the point where he died to be with her. Romeo, "Here’s to my love! / Drinks. O true apothecary! / Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die."(5.3 120-122). the previous statement taken from the text of Romeo and Juliet directly shows that Romeo died for Juliet so that she would not have to be alone in death. Romeo could not live without Juliet. Romeo, "Arms, take your last embrace! And, lips, O you / The doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss / A dateless bargain to engrossing death"(5.3.114-116). Romeo falling in love with Juliet caused Juliet to fake her death to go live with Romeo who has been banished. If Romeo and Juliet would not have loved each other then Juliet would not have faked her death killing Romeo in the process . Romeo has made Juliet fall in love with him when they met a dance."
