I Grew Up Here, And There I grew up as a military brat so being in one place for my whole childhood was not an option. I grew up in the company of my family. Mom 's southern cooking and my brothers ' destructiveness was the community I lived in. Out of all the places I have lived my three favorite are Washington, Florida, and Oklahoma. Washington, the rainy state. Being the pluviophile I am, it was perfect weather to me. I love everything about this state, including the gloomy beaches, the docks with flower shops and fish markets, and Mount Rainer. I especially loved the winter because I got to build snowmen and drink hot chocolate to warm up my rosey red cheeks. Living in Washington there was not many sunny days, but I burn easy so I did not mind the lack of sunshine. …show more content…
Florida, the sunshine state, the polar opposite of Washington. I did not care for Florida itself, I cared more for the people in the small town of Jay. I was twelve years old when I moved to Jay and even though I only lived there for a short time, I had the time of my life. I had joined the marching band and made some great friends. The band was a family and I am so thankful I got the opportunity to be a part of that. I loved hanging out with my friends at practice and football games because they never failed to make me smile. They made me feel important, like I had a great purpose in
When I say fantastic weather I mean we had every season in one day. Sometimes it got crazy but I would not have it any other way. There are many things there to keep people busy depending on where you live. We didn’t travel too much, so seeing things outside of where I grew up did not happen very much.
We moved here because my dad got a new job. He had to move from California to Newton. It was okay at first since we had a few family members, but after I had to go to school, I was already regretting my whole life. Until, I met some nice great friends. Then it got better that 's why I think that Newton is a great city to
Other than Florida which sometimes you Have to risk your life! Alabama and Florida are both great states, in an even better country. Although I have said some Slightly strong things about Florida, I feel as if they still have a ton of things to offer for many people. Alabama and Florida have a ton of differences, from football and its crazy stats, to the weather of both And how they differ, and how you can easily get hurt just from fishing!
The positive intake of living in Whitewater was the fact of it being like living in a big house, everybody knew each other. There was only one grammar school, high school and college. So the same kids I knew in daycare were the same kids I grew older with. For the most part I enjoyed living in a small town. I also had lots of family that were living in the area.
When I attended school here I made new friends that came from other part of Asia and Europe, I were able to learned about their cultures and why they are here in America. What do you like about California beside the diversity of the state? California is located near the ocean and is famous for the Golden Gate Bridge, Hollywood and its beaches. I had been to San Francisco before, seeing the Golden Gate Bridge was the amazing part of the trip.
Living on a beach in Panama City Beach Florida would be amazing. It rarely ever snows so you never really have to worry about it being cold. The beautiful sunrise as the sun raises out of the water. The beautiful colors splashed across the sky. Fish gracefully gliding through the crystal clear water.
The attractions in Florida are the things that were somewhat memorable to me. Florida is a wonderful place to live because of all the attractions I enjoyed there, and because of all the wonderful memories I had there. Whenever you ever go to Florida you would definitely enjoy it since Walt Disney World is there. One of my favorite memory that I remember was when I first came to America.
Florida is a wonderful state, which everyone should want to visit at least a few times. Florida has plenty of things for people to do. It also has a lot of history and popular things that were actually created there. Florida is located in the south-east region and is often called The Sunshine State because of its beaches. Florida has great weather, nice waterfalls, and attracts thousands of followers every year.
Wyoming Last spring I went on a vacation of a lifetime. I went on a two month stay in alpine wyoming. I flew out of grand rapids to denver colorado or as a joke we called it color a du. It was a eight hour flight to Idaho falls, Idaho.
We talk about it a lot because of how in love we are with everything it has. Washington made me realize how important family was. It taught me how important it was to stick together through anything that was thrown at us. Our ties could always be strengthened by Eastern Washington. Eastern is less cluttered compared to Western.
Often I hear the phrases “this state sucks or I can 't wait to move” but many don 't know exactly where they want to go. As for me when asked if I could live anywhere, Texas came across my mind instantly . My first time visiting Texas, I hope some day I could possibly live there. Seeing all my family is what I found most enjoyable about being there.
All I remember from when I was little is moving from house to house. I never got to stay in one place for the same amount of time. The house wasn't in a good location or the school wasn't good enough or family was to far. I never really liked moving because it seemed like when I was just getting a friend group or finally getting settled in we had to move again. There was never a reason of why we had to move, I was told that we are moving soon.
Some things you experience in life stick with you for a long time. A family trip I took to Durango, Colorado was one of those experiences for me. There are so many different things that made it so memorable for me. Waking up surrounded by trees, hearing the faint sound of water running from a nearby stream, and finishing this perfect setting were the mountains towering over it all. Durango Colorado has some of the most enjoyable surroundings I've ever experienced.
New Orleans has been my home for the last twenty-four years. There is so much offered in New Orleans like delectable foods and diverse cultures. My grandmother was a very influential person in our community, and a very talented seamstress; people would come from all over the city to have her make their outfits. She would sew complicated costumes for parades, gorgeous gowns for balls, and Indian outfits for the spy-boys, flyboys, and big chiefs. The Indian costumes are my absolute favorite.
My Favorite Place to Visit There are many states have I been to in my life. I have made lots of memories with the places I have been to and the people I have went with with. The first time I traveled out of state was when I was three years old.
