Some things you experience in life stick with you for a long time. A family trip I took to Durango, Colorado was one of those experiences for me. There are so many different things that made it so memorable for me. Waking up surrounded by trees, hearing the faint sound of water running from a nearby stream, and finishing this perfect setting were the mountains towering over it all. Durango Colorado has some of the most enjoyable surroundings I've ever experienced. A particularly pleasant place for me was sitting on the deck of our campsite listening to the creek below. The sound was so peaceful and calming the way the water flowed consistently, undeterred by children splashing in it, or wildlife taking a drink from it . While listening to
There are many beautiful and majestic parts of the United States and one of those outstanding places would be Durango. I live 1,162 miles from Durango and i 've been there three times in one year in car. I will never get tired of the city that takes you by the hand and shows you more to the world than all its problems. If I was handed a ticket to go anywhere in the world I would choose Durango in a
We plan to leave from Albuquerque on Sunday, September 27 and head to Denver. We would stay the night and then take the tour of the University. Shortly after the tour we would leave for Boulder; stay the night then take the tour the next day then leave for Durango. Stay one night in Durango; take tour and head back to Albuquerque.
If you are feeling a little confused that’s okay, this is judgment free zone. I am twenty three years old and on the verge of graduating this December, And my interpretation of messages changes every day that I mature and grow as a person.
Today I’m going to be talking about my trip to Durango, Mexico. I live in Dacono, Colorado so the drive to Colorado to Durango takes two days. My grandparents and I, stay in Mexico for about two weeks and a half and we leave Friday morning like at 4:00am and we arrive to the border of El Paso, Texas like at 3:00pm. After we’ve arrived to Texas we make a pit stop to go use the restroom and to also eat because once we leave Texas and into Mexico, its going to be a long while before we get to eat and use the restroom again. Once we leave Texas and enter Mexico our second destination is Chihuahua, Mexico.
From the stories my mother has told, the journey from Morelos, Mexico to El Paso, Texas was treacherous. From the dirty, murderous streets of Tijuana to the endless hot Chihuahuan desert. My mother and my four older siblings, who were of the ages of seven, five, three, and two, were part of a group of 15 people. They were lead by a guide who knew the desert well and had taken many others before them to the land opportunity. It took 16 days to reach to El Paso, Texas.
It’s about six hours since you left for Arizona . The way things have been, I know you wouldn’t have expected me to come to see you off. I was so focused on getting by on my own in the city, I didn’t realize how much I missed being with friends. And it was only today I realized how much I’ve missed you. You were my best friend for as long as I can remember, and it’s been almost two weeks since I last talked to you.
24 Hour Limo If my friend and I could have a limo for 24 hours I would want to go to South Dakota. Three things I would want to do there are, got to Mount Rushmore, The Badlands, and Crazy Horse Monument. The first place we could go to is Mount Rushmore. We could go there because it is the only monument that has all four presidents heads carved into rock.
Frisco in particular, I enjoy more than other mountain town I have been too. There are a multitude of reasons why. For one, as I mentioned earlier, the ecosystem and environment of the Rocky Mountains amaze
After years of waiting and preparing we started on the journey to the west. We made our way to Independence, Missouri to go on the Oregon Trail which was laid by traders and trapers. While there I became familiar with George Wilson who was also a working family man. A lot of families left together making the trail busy and causing jams..
I am sitting in the back seat with silky pillows, velutinous blankets, and windows rolled down blasting a gust of wind through my hair. After a extensive four-hour car ride we finally arrive at my favorite place. When we first get there we
Every store, restaurant, and park I have visited a countless number of times. The lake laying their so peaceful. Waves slowly make their way across it being pushed gently by the wind like the moment before your dad lets go of you when learning to ride a
“Too many things to remember,” I thought to myself. The drive up was mainly explaining what is going to happen once we arrived at Shawnee Mountain. The road from the lodge was bumpy and long; however, I knew the trip ahead would be worth it. My ride eventually stopped in a crowded parking lot. The snow on the unveiled mountain and ground was a matte, white color.
The photograph I have chosen to share is of myself. I took this photo on my return trip from Kalispell Montana in 2011. Were my wife and my then one year old daughter had spent our vacation with my mother-in-law, who owns a small lake side cabin there. In this photo I had just depart from the train that took me from Whitefish Montana to Spokane Washington. I am waiting in the airport for my flight back to Louisville KY.
Eden Prairie scenery is so arresting that it looked like heaven was right in front of you. Although Eden Prairie is an Superlative environment but it also
For me its our farm. I love going out there but its an escape for me! There is so much freedom and I don’t have to worry about the real world and all the stress that it brings. At the being of my high school career I dated this girl and she wasn’t really who I thought she was and she spread all of these rumors about me that were very hurtful and our farm was the physical and metaphysical place I was able to go and just leave the real world behind. The other thing that really got me thinking was the physical sex and the metaphysical love.
