Similarly to Texas, California was annexed by the U.S. after the Mexican War in 1846. While U.S. took the opportunity to discovered California, many immigrants see it as a golden land and a place to live their successful life. California is known for diversity from newcomer immigrants compare from food to cultures. Who is your favourite food? Mine is Pho and Taco. I enjoyed eating all diverse food in California. Wherever you go you will always find a eating place that sell different type of food around the world.
In cultures, California tend to let all group of people to celebrate their own traditions and cultures such as New Year, religion worship or praying. This is what I like most about California, even though we all come from different parts of the world we still come together as one here. When I attended school here I made new friends that came from other part of Asia and Europe, I were able to learned about their cultures and why they are here in America. What do you like about California beside the diversity of the state?
California is located near the ocean and is famous for the Golden Gate Bridge, Hollywood and its beaches. I had been to San Francisco before, seeing the Golden Gate Bridge was the amazing part of the trip. These places created an adventure for kids to hangout and family to have bonding times. Universal Studio, SeaWorld and Disneyland have themes that show many interest from movies to tv show and water park. I like the fact that these places brought a lot of attention from people around the states to come and visit.
