Outline For The Most Dangerous Game

General Zaroff was born a Cossack and was known for their savagery. General Zaroff got bored with just hunting animals he wanted some great to kill- humans. Rainsford found out and refused to hunt with him, so General Zaroff decided to hunt Rainsford. Rainsford outsmarted him and had a fight to the death which Rainsford won. But you got to ask yourself.

At the end of “The Most Dangerous Game,” Rainsford warns Zaroff, “I am still a beast at bay… Get ready” (17). By declaring this, Rainsford threatens to kill Zaroff. Previously in the story, when the two men were chatting over dinner, Zaroff reveals to Rainsford that he hunts humans. Astounded, Rainsford accuses Zaroff of being a murderer.

General Zaroff explains a game that he likes to play to Rainsford. This game is where Zaroff hunts Rainsford and since Rainsford is trapped on the island he is forced to play the game. At the end of the game Rainsford kills Zaroff in a clear act of self defence. Before the game started Zaroff supplied Rainsford food, hunting clothes and a knife.

”’(10). General Zaroff is challenging Rainford to play the ‘Most Dangerous Game’. Rainford wants to leave the island because he does not want to play the game. General Zaroff insist that Rainford has to hunt people.

When Rainsford hears Zaroff say this, he realizes that Zaroff is a man hunter. So, Zaroff gave Rainsford a head start into the forest and then he would go hunt him. Rainsford had many challenges ahead of him, the top challenge he wanted to achieve was to stay alive, the next one was to survive in the forest. Day after day Zaroff was getting closer and closer to Rainsford, but Rainsford had a plan, he would build a trap to capture/kill Zaroff. Whenever one of the traps failed, his new challenge was to make a trap and hope that Zaroff would take the bait.

Is a man killing for sport savage? Is the man killing for livelihood savage? Are all men killing others savage? Hunting can be considered safe until… "The Most Dangerous Game" took place on a Ship-Trap Island. Rainsford swam to the island after fell off the ship that he was traveling on. On the island, Rainsford found resources to survive and a famous hunter, General Zaroff, reveals that he wanted to hunt Rainsford, because he finds hunting humans more exciting and interesting than just animals. Through intelligence and cleverness, Rainsford managed to end Zaroff's life. In the story, The Most Dangerous Game is a powerful adventure tale.

The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell promotes violence and inhumane actions. Rainsford, one of the main characters in the narrative is a hunter that published several books in his career. As he’s sailing he happens to get stranded on an island named Ship Trap Island. As he wanders he happens upon a character named General Garoff. Garoff is also a hunter, but let’s just say that he’s, “more serious” than Rainsford.

Thematic writing piece “You were given this life because you’re strong enough to live it.” Author Ain Eineziz once stated. Without survival, one may never succeed or make it through life. In the story “ The Most Dangerous Game” we learn this. The two main characters Rainsford and Zaroff both related to this quoted by Ain Eineziz.

In the short story “The Most Dangerous Game” Rainsford was justified for killing General Zaroff. Rainsford was a hunter who had fallen off his boat and found a desserted island. On the island he meets a mad named General Zaroff. General Zaroff knew Rainsford was a hunter and Zaroff asked Rainsford to hunt with him but Rainsford didn’t want to. The reason Rainsford didn’t want to hunt was because General Zaroff hunted humans and Rainsford didn’t believe it was right.

“The Most Dangerous Game”, a short story by Richard Connell, is about Sanger Rainsford’s unfortunate visit to General Zaroff’s island while on a hunting trip. General Zaroff isn’t any normal hunter and he invites Rainsford to play a hunting game that is unlike any other hunting game. General Zaroff’s arrogance and experience in hunting and the hunting game, could cost Rainsford his life. The first trait General Zaroff displays is arrogance.

Hunters believe animals are not capable of reasoning and they see them as something lesser than humans. Throughout time, these positions can change. The short story, “The Most Dangerous Game” written by Richard Connell, consists of General Zaroff being the hunter and Rainsford being the hunted. During the story, their positions change to the complete opposite.

In my opinion, not all the characters follows the rules of the game, in the short story " The Most Dangerous Game" . I believe the rules were broken by General Zarroff, before he brought out the dogs, he announced that he will only to be armed with a hunting knife and a small pistol, when that is not true since he brings the "dozen or so huge black... (dogs ) (72)". The story specifically states the rules of the games when the general addresses the rules to Rainsford. "I give him a supply of food and an excellent hunting knife...

"The Most Dangerous Game" statement of The world is made up of two classes -- "the hunters and the huntees" is a great statement that makes sense. The Most Dangerous Game is about a man named Zaroff who lives on an island by himself. The people that come to the island get trained to get ready for the game. The game involves people going through the jungle, hiding from Zaroff as he hunts them. Both the hunters and the huntees have a different view on the conflict.
