What would you get rid of to make our world a better place? The three things that I would get rid of to make this world a better place is cancer, stress, and ads. I think that if we got rid of these three things than people would be happier and healthier. The first thing that I would get rid of is cancer. I think that if we got rid of stress than people wouldn’t worry about things that aren’t important and they would be happier. People always happen to stress or worry about things that aren’t important. If we could get rid of stress people wouldn’t have to worry about not important things. Stressing makes people sad and depressed sometimes. When people get sad and depressed they seem to stay away from everyone and everything. Stressing can give a feeling that everybody would be happy living without. I think that if we got rid of stress in this world people would be so much happier. When I see somebody with cancer, I get really mad, I say to myself, ”Why must this disease be real. Why did God create something so horrible that it can affect anybody.” If it was I who had ten million dollars, I would donate it to St.Jude's Cancer Research Facilities because it is a deadly disease, it is a real-nonprofit research organization, and it covers all expenses for families. Cancer is among the top ten leading causes of death in the world. This disease takes nearly eight million lives every year.
The average American is exposed to 4,000 to 10,000 advertisements a day (Marshall). This can include emails, commercials, billboards, and many others. Advertising is a means of informing choice to its viewers, and it is vital to the success of any business. Although advertising is necessary, over the past fifteen years, advertising has had a negative effect on culture by encouraging conformity and having harmful effects on self-esteem as well as financial status.
Human behavior will determine the success of our world. Humans can destroy themselves if they are malicious like shown in the short stories The Cask of Amontillado, The Veldt, and The Lottery. Human nature is slowly decreasing in value in the world. Characters in those short stories prove to be the wrong answer to healing the wounds of the world today, like the injustice, and overall ignorance the world carries on its back. Although humans can be kind and selfless people, sacrificing loved ones, hurting innocent bystanders, and plotting revenge can reveal the dark side of human nature.

Defined as the ‘fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies’ (U.S Environment Protection Agency, 2012), environmental justice aims to shift the world towards environmentally friendly development and eradicate exploitation of natural resources and indigenous communities. By putting this recommendation into action now, I expect to become more connected to my coworkers, more visible to upper management, and more capable of making effective decisions in future leadership positions. FLHD 1500 Can One Person Change the World? I definitely believe that it only takes one person to impact the word, make a huge difference and change it a better place. That this one person even if not being able to do a lot materially to change the world, still has the power to inspire others and help that person changes the world. It may be hard to believe, but I have a strong belief that one person can set an example for others that may affect the outcome of any and every situation. I always ask myself this question and as Maya Angelou once said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel” and that is absolutely true.
So, it seems that the only way to save the planet is to save the poorest, and simply using the previously mentioned technology does not seem like enough. So, what our planet needs is for a wide scale project to help reduce global warming and
“It is the neglect of timely repair that makes rebuilding necessary.” (Richard Whatley) The phrase “Repairing the World” offers motivation for improvement in social justice work for some people, and for others, that phrase is overused and so little understood as to be meaningless. Obviously, there is an abundance of luminosity and grandeur in the world, but in spite of its beauties and wonderments, it still has its tribulations. Repairing, protecting, rectifying, and altering the world are extremely important priorities, but first before anything is done, the personalities of many people need to change.
We go through our everyday lives performing random acts of kindness but sometimes we fail to notice them. Over the last five days, I have documented some of the acts of kindness that I already did but failed to reflect on them after. Some of the things that I noticed was the reactions people had after being nice to them or asking them how their day was going. Their reactions were mostly positive, but sometimes they looked at me kind of weird and gave me very brief answers. Not all of my acts of kindness were towards others, I added some personal acts of kindness because they helped me relax and decompress.
The two important values that I have learnt are the independence and the respect. I learnt these two values since my childhood. One of the values is the independence. Independence means that you can support yourself without owning or depending on yourself concerned with livelihood or studying. You can make decision of your life without being controlled by the others.
Global Environment Problems Global environment can be defined as the environment about our nature and the surroundings that influence worldwide scale an environment could be a desert or polar land. Environment problems: Our environment constantly changing. There is no denying that, However, as our environment changes, so does the need to become increasingly aware of the problems that surround it. With a massive influx of natural disasters, warming and cooling periods, different types of weather patterns and much more, people need to be aware of what types of environmental problems our planet is facing.
Social Problems in Societies Social problems are issues which are considered to affect majority if not all members of a society either directly or indirectly. Whenever people come to live together in a social setting, conflict arises from their differences in opinions regarding political issues, religion, ethnic issues, cultural practices and other health and hygiene issues. In such a situation, we can say a society inevitably develops social problems. The various social issues present today vary from society to society, and as such, we cannot say that all societies face similar social issues.
Stress is a ubiquitous part of everyday life. There is no way to avoid stress but you can learn to manage it. Stress can be caused through distinct ways and distinct reasons such as personal problems, social and job issues, post-traumatic stress and so on. You may have headache, feeling anxiety and depression, and easily irritated if did not handle stress well. Reduce stress in daily life is important to keep overall health since it will let you to have better frame of mind, enhance immunity and longevity so you can be more productive.
