Who’s To Blame for the Tragedy in Romeo and Juliet?
(Hook). The play Romeo and Juliet is about an age-old feud that ends in tragedy. A young Montague, Romeo, meets the beautiful Capulet, Juliet and they fall in love. After only a few days, they marry. Their plans to run away together grow sour after Romeo kills Juliet's cousin, Tybalt, and is banished from Verona. Juliet's dad then forces her to marry the County Paris. When the pair of star-crossed lovers reach the end of their relationship, they kill themselves. The literary critic, Max Radiclix, explains why he thinks three people are accountable for the tragedy in Romeo and Juliet. In the text, “Who can be blamed for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet?” The author provides a strong argument explaining why he thinks Romeo and Tybalt were at fault for the tragedy in Romeo and Juliet.

We're first introduced to Tybalt when Romeo crashes the Capulet's party. Tybalt doesn't like Romeo from the start and even threatens to kill him. Tybalt is at fault because he killed Mercutio. “There was no reason for Tybalt to kill Mercutio; it was completely unnecessary. Romeo’s rash retaliation for Mercutio’s death caused Romeo to be banished from Verona,” (Radlicz). Mercutio's death set the tragic ending in motion. Enraged by his friend's death, Romeo kills Tybalt to get revenge. If Tybalt controlled his anger and didn't kill Mercutio, Romeo and Juliet would’ve
As tragedy strikes in Verona, who is really responsible for the death of the young lover? Shakespeare suggests that Tybalt plays an important role in causing the tragic events in Romeo and Juliet. Due to his hot-headedness and aggressive behavior, he contributes to the death of these lovers. Romeo and Juliet's deaths are the result of Tybalt's aggressive behavior towards the Montague, the killing of Mercutio in an altercation, and the banishing of Romeo from Verona.
In the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, the most blameable would be Lady Capulet, Capulet, and the feud between the families. The feud between the families had a huge impact on the two lovers deaths. If the two families were not fighting, none of the deaths would have occured. The first person to blame would be Juliet's mother, Lady Capulet. Juliet and her mother do not have a strong relationship because the Nurse raised Juliet.
Romeo and Juliet’s deaths were not just one person’s fault; many people contributed to how they ended up dying. Even though these people did not kill them physically, they are still a part of the reason they died. The person who contributed to this matter but still did not have much effect was the nurse; she talked badly about Romeo, which set off Juliet. The next person who was most at fault but not the most was Tybalt; he caused a scene with Romeo, which started the whole Romeo leaving situation. The person who was most at fault was Friar Lawrence; even though he married them and wanted the best for them, he was still a big part of the reason they died.
Who is to Blame for the Deaths of Romeo and Juliet? In William Shakespeare’s tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, the character that is most to responsible for their deaths art Friar Lawrence; that gent married those folk the day after those gents hath met, coequal though that gent wast aware of the rivalry between the Mntagues and Capulets, and that gent developeth a lacking valor plan to reunite those folk after Romeo’s exile, coequal leaving Juliet right ere the lady killeth herself. The Friar’s decisions ultimately hath led to the tragic demise of the two young lovers. At which hour making large decisions that wilt surely affect many people in the future, t is bethought that people should usually consult.
Who’s to Blame? The timeless play of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare illustrates the dramatic yet romantic tale of the two lovers, Romeo and Juliet. Throughout the play, many events and decisions made by various characters snowball into much bigger consequences than first anticipated. The many tragedies that occur in the play are caused by these poor choices although some of the people who made them are more at blame than others.
When people are at fault, they tend to blame or shift that fault onto someone else to give them responsibility and make themselves look better. People resort to this method in order to The method of blaming was very essential for all of the story to be put together. If no one blamed each other, Romeo and Juliet would most likely be an entirely different story. The factors to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are Tybalt and Mercutio.
With the resentment that he carries towards Romeo’s family always seems to be his motivation to rile them up. His resentment is a major reason he got killed in the first place- seeing as that caused him to kill Mercutio, making Romeo kill him out of rage. You can see that his resentment is what led him to his death when this quote appears after Mercutio basically tells him to just start fighting them- “You shall find me apt enough to that, sir, if you an you will give me occasion,”(3. 1. 18) This quote may have been the first step into Tybalt’s death, as it seems that this is the words that started this fight in the first place. All he had to do was control his strong emotion towards them and walk away- all of this could’ve been avoided that
The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, a story that everyone knows, but who is to blame? Who is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet, despite differing perspectives from the readers, the developing brain, and Juliet herself? The rivalry between the two opposing houses of the Montagues and Capulets lead to lots of blood shed and hatred towards each other. When Romeo instantly falls in love with Juliet after crashing a Capulet party, they eventually get secretly married until Romeo is banished and Juliet is forced to marry Count Paris. Miscommunication between accomplices leads to the downfall of the two lovers.
The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet was a movement for modern day literature. It tells the story between the disputing families the Capulets and the Montagues. The tragic end to their lives caused a new type of understanding within the families, but it brought up a question. Who else is responsible for the tragic events? The most obvious answer is the families but, there is another character who made the majority of the mistakes.
In the play, Romeo and Juliet By, Shakespeare, the characters Romeo and Juliet fall in love with each other and get married behind everyone's back, this and multiple other choices lead to their death. Due to all that happened it is hard to pin all the blame on one person as everyone had a distinguishable role in their deaths and no one person can be blamed. but In the article, who can be Blamed for R&J, Max Radlicz gives an analysis of who is to blame for the results of Romeo and Juliet through his claim that Tybalt is one of the people responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. In his article, Max Radlicz claims that Tybalt is one of the main people to blame for the results of Romeo and Juliet. He supports his reasoning with the sentence
¨For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo¨. In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is a story of two lovers who take their life all because of a misunderstanding. However, who is to blame for their tragic demise? The parents who made the two lovers feel like outcasts must be to blame. The Capulets forced Juliet to marry Paris, the constant fighting made them want to keep the marriage secret, and made Romeo and Juliet to scared to say anything.
These tragic events all occurred because of the fight between Romeo, Mercutio, and Tybalt. This causes me to believe that Tybalt is to blame for the tragic disasters in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. From the beginning of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Tybalt has hated the idea of Romeo and his appearance at the Capulet party. Tybalt: “Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe, A villain, that is hither come in spite, To scorn at our solemnity this night.” (Shakespeare, 393).
There are many characters that contributed to the tragic acts of love and suicide in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, but who is the most to blame? In the famous play, we have two families, the Montagues and the Capulets, who have been feuding with each other for many years. Romeo, from the Montague family, and Juliet, from the Capulets, have fallen in love. Due to the distasteful acts from each side, their children must go to great lengths to keep their love a secret.
Lastly, Tybalt is the most to blame for the events that occur in Romeo and Juliet because of the the first events he caused leading to the suicides of Romeo and Juliet. The confirmation that Tybalt is the cause of the terrible events in Romeo and Juliet is shown in the play “Romeo and Juliet” when Romeo says, “Is it even so? then I defy you, stars! Thou know ' st my lodging: get me ink and paper, and hire post-horses; I will hence tonight.”
The long standing-family feuding and fate is ultimately to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. Some people may think that Romeo and Juliet are ultimately to blame for their own deaths, because they both killed themselves. They are wrong, the
