How to Interpret the Standards of Ethical Coding" means to me is as a coder job it is very important that they code properly. These standards mean the coders should be accurate, honest, fallow the guidelines and policies and interpret the providers notes. Coding improperly would not jut affect us put it will affect as whole such the healthcare team, the patients, organization and the public as a whole. To me this means its very important to not just assume that this might be the right thing to code. its significant to check with the provider before doing anything we are not sure of because this might lead to big problem. The patients are on our hands and its important to treat them as we would like to be treated. They are counting on us.
Saving the patient is my job, my duty, and like any other person's job, I have a professional status to accomplish.

Each morning patients came in for assessment and the treatment team developed or altered existing treatment protocols. I longed to be part of this team, working to stabilize each patient so they could return home to pursue their goals. The nurses stood out to me as the team members at ground zero in the unit, working directly with patients, and advocating for them in meetings. Overall, no matter the health profession, all healthcare providers have an obligation of doing no harm to patients and practicing a patient/person-centered approach. In addition, healthcare providers must help to the fullest extent based on their training and credentials. Equally important is to always demonstrate honesty and integrity, while maintaining compassion and confidentiality. Patients come in all shapes, sizes, races, backgrounds, and as such, should all be respected and treated equally. Lastly, in order to provide the best care possible, all professional knowledge must remain current (via continuing education, seminars, or trainings) as new health technologies, new medications and devices, or advances in medicine emerge.
Long hours and shortage of personnel can lead to routines of practice, which can hinder the development of patient centered care in hospitals. Even when patient centered care is valued, the demands of caring for many patients at a time can restrict the professionals’ ability to provide physical and emotional support, and respect for their patients’ preferences (Kelly, 2007). Recommendations Patients ought to understand that nurses do everything to ensure their safety.
