It has been established and helping many people for many years. The American Red Cross is the crisis responder when there is a natural disaster such as a flood, tornado, wildfire, and even the small house fire. The American Red Cross is there to assist the people who have just experienced such a traumatic moment in their lives and help them to get back on their feet.

The North Carolina State Board of Education outlines the professional standards to which teaches should uphold within, and even outside of, the classroom. These standards are comprised of the commitment to the student, commitment to the school, and commitment to the profession. Also, the Code of Ethics includes the professional conduct which entails, honesty, the acknowledgement of the rights of others, keeping information confidential, and compliance of criminal laws (NC State Board of Education, 1998). The seven core values of the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct are different kind of commitments that we have to follow in order to be in a field of any early childhood care and education. The National Organization for Human Services (NOHS) Ethical Standards is intended to serve as a guide to the everyday professional conduct of the helper. The standards are extremely broad and subject to interpretation, by the helper. Therefore, the standards are not static; they are revised as new concerns occur during the client-helper relationship.

Profession Code of Ethics Comparison As a social work student, we are provided with the foundational education necessary to succeed in our profession. The National Association of Social Work (NASW) Code of Ethics is the most significant publication because it “is intended to serve as a guide to the everyday professional conduct of social workers” (NASW Code of Ethics, 2017). For this assignment, we are charged with exploring other professional codes of ethics to gain a better understanding of how they may be similar or differ from one another. Therefore, I choose to explore the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics with the intention of conducting a comparison analysis of both documents.

British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) are the main and the biggest expert relationship for guiding and psychotherapy in the United Kingdom with more than 34,000 individual members. The Association was established in 1971 and works deliberate self-administrative plans for individual counsellors/psychotherapists, bosses, instructional classes and administrations. The BACP Ethical Framework came into power in April 2002 and gives an expert framework to guides, delineating key zones of obligation and principles of behaviour (Rugby 2010). At present BACP authorises post graduate courses at 30 UK Universities over every one of the four home nations. More than 24,000 members have embraced centre preparing in advising and psychotherapy.

Chris McCandless, whose story is analyzed in Into the Wild, by Jon Krakauer, is a young adult who decides to leave his known habits and material belongings behind and live a completely self-sufficient life in the wilderness, a choice which ultimately leads to his death. In doing that, he also forfeits his family and friends. With that in mind, a question can be posed regarding the ethics of said behavior. As a childless, single and financially independent man, Chris McCandless has absolute ownership of his body and thus his decision to continue doing a sport that he knows can kill him is ethically defensible.

Dr. Harris and Classmates, As a counselor, if i'm conducting a psychological test to a client that becomes an issues with my personal theories, I need to put my values and personal ethics to the side. According to ACA Code of ethics "A.4.b. Personal Values Counselors are aware of and avoid imposing their own values, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors." Therefore, as a counselor I need to put my personal ethics to the side to make sure I do not have a conflict with my client.
