Childhood bullying can really affect adulthood. Being bullied as a child can cause depression, suicide attempts, and physical health problems. But does childhood bullying lead to struggles as an adult? Bullying has clear physical effects on brain structures. “The amygdala, the part at the of the brain’s temporal lobe that clears with fear, anxiety and emotional response, was shown to be larger in bullied adolescents, particularly in boys.” When bullying leads to adult life, people tend to make bad decisions. The Outcomes of Bullying Bullying is repeated acts of violence against someone to gain power or advance status. Often, the explanation behind bullying is insecurity or violence at home. Bullying can seriously affect people, with effects including anxiety, depression, sadness, and loss of interest in hobbies. In the book Egghead by Caroline Pignat, the high school outcast Will is at odds with the school bullies Shane, Devan, and Brad.
The biological theories that were initially used to explain criminal and non-conforming behaviours can be used to explain and understand the motivation behind bullying just like any other kind of criminal and non-conforming behaviour. Traditional theories such as Lombroso and Beccaria held on the fact that criminals and non-conforming members of the society had physical characteristics that motivated them to criminal behaviours. These individuals pose unique biological traits that significantly predisposed tem to negative non-conforming behaviours’. Perhaps this theory has not been directly linked to bullying but since bullying is criminalized by the society, those taking part in it then should be considered t be suffering from the same fate.
Now, bullying is considered as a “serious public health problem” with bearing many negative health problems. Relevant Terms Positive reinforcement (8): adding a stimulus in order to increase the frequency of the desired behavior From a bully 's’ perspective, they attain happiness and excitement when bullying (although short-lasting). Also, the bully may attribute its own stress to other inferiors, which will help the bully become “free of stress.” External locus of control (18): the feeling when someone thinks s/he do not have a control of own life; in other words, he/she believes that their future is already chosen.
Mental health difficulties, increased stress and anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem are all common. Even after the bullying has stopped, bullying can have long-term emotional consequences. “She immediately crawls into bed, letting the books fall to the ground.” This is an example of a negative consequence of bullying. feeling lonely and alone.

Bullying is a used superior strength or influence to intimidate someone, typically to force him or her to do what one wants. Bullying seems to be one act that crosses all barriers of caste ethic origin, or sex. Some of the reasons are lack of positive attitude and feedback from understanding our teachers. Also, positive feedback at home from communicating with family.
Bullying is a phenomenon existing as long as humans exist. The fact that it didn’t have a name for years doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a widespread way of behavior, in cases where two different types of people were involved ; the strong and the weak ones. Bullying is an undesirable, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves actual disparity of power. According to Megan Brooks bullying is a serious public health problems, with significant short-and long-term psychological consequences for the child who is bullied and the child who is the bully. The Harsher Consequences of Face to Face Bullying Meet Rochelle, a previous student who told her best friend something very personal. Her best friend told everyone and kids from her school started bullying her. They would call her names and it came to the point where she stopped going to school, stopped eating, had to go to the hospital because she purposely cracked her head open on the sidewalk, and tried to hang herself. It consists of three main types of abuse which are physical, verbal and emotional. Bullying in schools is a common and worldwide spread problem that can have critical and negative implications on the general school climate as well as on the right of students to study in a safe and secure environment without fear. Many people believe that bullying is part of life, happens in all schools and so it’s not an issue to worry about and that it lets individuals know what life is all about as it toughens them but in reality bullying is a detrimental problem that affects most school going children and teenagers physically, emotionally and socially.
