Crete is a fantastic island filled with rich culture and beautiful scenery. 1. First you will learn about the history and geography of Crete. 2.Second you will learn about the interesting and rare culture. 3. Third you will learn about the sights you can see and visit while in Crete. According to World literature Today
2006, Crete is the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, the island extends to 160 miles from east to west! Not only is it a big island but it also belongs to the country of Greece which united in 1913, which is actually very very recent!

He was a man known for his medical technies and many people still believe that the air of Crete is great for heeling many illnesses. That is one of the many reason why Crete is so popular with tourists. From beaches to museums to the dense forests, pretty much any one can find something to do at the Island. Turquoise water, aquarium-like seabed, sand dunes and rare coastal ecosystems give visitors the opportunity to discover their paradise in Crete. Camping outdoors is forbidden by Greek laws, but there are camping sites all over the island where you can stay overnight but that comes with a very high cost. Sparta was once one of the most important Greek city-states throughout Greece, famous for their military lifestyle. When you think of a Spartan warrior, you vision a man with huge muscles, red cloaks, long hair, and sharp swords. Spartan warriors were the best and feared fighters in Greece, they spend their whole lives learning new fighting techniques and serving their home, Sparta. At around six or seven years old, young boys would be taken from their homes to be trained as Spartan warriors.
The geography of Athens was more favorable than that of any other Greek city-state. Athens was the largest of the Greek city-states and had the most fertile land. It was also situated near the Aegean Sea, so it was great for long-distance trading. Government of Arcania Arcania was born right after the Peloponnesian War in Sparta.
Cecily Strong is a comedian of the famous and popular show Saturday Night Live on NBC. She often works with her coworkers to made fun of what happening in the world. As a comedian, many of her jokes fall into the category of dry sarcasm. So, it is important to take that into consideration when watching the speeches she gives.
IOWA Iowa is full of some really cool things. Like ice cream even though that ice cream is probably (hopefully) in every town there is somewhere to get ice cream. One Great place to get ice cream is Whitey’s Ice cream in Des Moines and Over the top in Iowa city. Now I 'll tell you more about Iowa. There is more things to do in Iowa then eat of course.
Greece is a land covered by mountains with nothing much else to it yet one of the greatest civilizations ever to exist on this planet. Greece is part of Europe but is made up of more than 6,000 islands as well as a peninsula. Ancient Greeks live over 2500 years ago and considering their geography it is remarkable that they got to the greatness that they did get to. But they could have been even greater if the geography Greece had cooperated with the ancient Greek cities and citizens in the areas of their economy, their social/cultural ways, and their political beliefs.

I remember walking into my ESL, english as a second language class, & instantly being questioned as to why I was in there. My fellow classmates assumed I was asian because of how I looked and teased me to the point of tears. In reality, I am of Guatemalan origin.
The speech was a very informative speech, addressing students with various facts and praises of the foundation of North Carolina Central University. NCCU is in fact praiseworthy. In 1910, James E. Shepard founded NCCU under the unique name, “National Religious Training School and Chautauqua for the Colored Race”. James E. Shepard was a pharmacist and religious educator, whom graduated from Shaw University, and later on in 1895, he married his wife Annie D. Shepard. Mrs. Shepard was the one who wrote the lyrics to North Carolina Central University 's Alma Mater, “Dear Old N.C.C”.
On March 15, 1965, one week after vicious beatings of African American protesters in Selma, Alabama, our 36th President Lyndon B. Johnson delivered an informative speech titled “We Shall Overcome” that would open the eyes of the caucasian people in congress. Johnson desired to have congress pass a bill for equality, and he addressed civil rights and racism between the voting poles. Throughout the speech President Johnson maintains a hopeful attitude with the assistance of strong and passionate parallel syntax and an affective tone following with good, positive, and projected vocals. Now you may be thinking that it was mainly to do with a war, but it is actually almost solely a disease called the variola disease or as it’s more commonly known, small-pox Slide 2-What were the symptoms and effects Now you may be wondering what made the disease so dangerous to the Aztecs. The main problem of the disease was the fact that not only did it kill 3/10 people effected it also severely lowered the victims fighting capabilities meaning that when the Spanish attempted to fight the Aztecs, it became much more favourable to the Aztecs. Nicole Aldana FHS 215 Karrie Walters October 28, 2015 Site Report: Boys and Girls Club The human service organization I chose for this assignment was the Boys and Girls Club of Emerald Valley. While there were a number of equally amazing organizations on the list, it really came down to my personal experience with this institute. During my senior year of high school, I made it a goal to partake in as many community service opportunities as I could. Coming from a big city, there was no shortage of these and after a few months of searching it led me to the Boys and Girls Club and a few other non-profits.

Today I'm going to talk about An Australien alternative rock band called This is serious mom also know as TISM TISM were a seven-piece anonymous alternative rock band from Melbourne, Australia. TISM members used pseudonymous and were anonymous. They wore balaclavas during all public appearances. Men and women don't understand what each one is going through in society. Girls are expected to be clean and pretty; while boys are messy and rude.
