IOWA Iowa is full of some really cool things. Like ice cream even though that ice cream is probably (hopefully) in every town there is somewhere to get ice cream. One Great place to get ice cream is Whitey’s Ice cream in Des Moines and Over the top in Iowa city. Now I 'll tell you more about Iowa. There is more things to do in Iowa then eat of course.

I am here to write to you about a serious issue that has gone on for far too long already. Most likely, you must have heard of the suicide crisis occurring in the community, along with all the suicide attempts happening there, the living conditions and the increasing suicide rates. I am sure that you are aware that this type of issue has happened in the past involving the community of Attawapiskat and that this is not the first time you have seen or heard of Attawapiskat and its issues in the media. This community has been the center of many issues, including the housing crisis, and the suicide crisis and so on.

The Studies in the Arts: Dominican Culture course examined multiple topic that relates to the culture of Dominican Republic, the political system during the past and the present, and all forms of music and sports that are popular in the country. The introduction to Antihaitianism in the Dominican Republic was first introduce at the beginning of the course. Antihaitianism is defined as the, “prejudice against, hatred of, or discrimination against Haitians and their language, culture, and race”. The two race have been in conflict due to sharing of the same island. For a long period of time, the Dominican army would kill the Haitians with weapons.

Australia Day is one of the most unique national day’s in the world throughout history, celebrating the day of when our ancestors first arrived on the borders of Australia, in 1788. Rather than unite people as one whole though, the spirited outcome of this event isn’t what as anticipated by everyone and has divided the Australian society for good. And so it should be held at an alternative date, where Australian citizens feel worthy of their identity and not cheated by it. However, the celebration shouldn’t be adapted to like that of other commemorations like ANZAC day. Essentially, this day will always be a tragic memory for the indigenous and be viewed as the invasion of their homeland.

Florida is a wonderful state, which everyone should want to visit at least a few times. Florida has plenty of things for people to do. It also has a lot of history and popular things that were actually created there. Florida is located in the south-east region and is often called The Sunshine State because of its beaches. Florida has great weather, nice waterfalls, and attracts thousands of followers every year.

Many people who take trips to other countries use it to escape the boredom of their own life and to have fun in another country. Taking vacations can provide excitement when heading to different locales, give a person the tastes and sights of a new place, and overall provide a sense of pleasure to a tourist. However, there is an aspect of this that many tourists do not get to see. In her essay A Small Place, author Jamaica Kincaid makes this aspect very clear. Kincaid, along with many other natives of foreign islands, believes that tourists are “ugly human being[s]” who seemingly feed off the boredom and desperation of the natives of a certain place, creating a source of pleasure for themselves (Kincaid 262).

I remember as a child being told these absurd stories that had been passed on from generation to generation, Myths if you will. Where there were so realistic and full of detail that I too began to start thinking it could possibly be true, but I didn’t want to put that illusion in my head that it was all true. So I associated them as being nothing more than a fantasy. Now the thing with some of these stories are they can be pretty intense to the point of being traumatized.

The world’s happiest place, a place where everyone and the kids want and need to go to, the place where families spend that valuable time together. #Going to Disney World is like unwrapping gifts on Christmas with family, friends, and loved ones. It’s a great feeling being able to go and experience that. Being very fortunate to travel, my wife and I decided to traveo to Hawaii. It was our first trip to that paradisaical place. The experience was fabulous from the very beginning. We flew to the island, and before the plane could land, we were amazed at beautiful blue and clarity of the sea. As we reached towards the beach we were able to see the bottom of the ocean.

We, as a species have a hard time admitting when we are wrong. How do you live with something that has no cure?
