The murder of Caylee Anthony was a highly publicized murder. The body of Caylee Anthony was found dumped in a swampy wooded area not far from her home. All that was left of her body was the skeleton remains. When a body is dumped outside and left lifeless like that it will start to decay. The weather and how long the body has been there effects the condition the police find it in. The remains of Caylee Anthony were found 31 days after she was reported missing but after seeing what shape the body was in forensic scientists said the body may have been there for as long as 6 months. The body was so decomposed by the time it was found they could not determine a cause of death but they did rule it a homicide. They found that the body and bones of Caylee Anthony had been gnawed on by animals in the woods. The forensic scientists also said that the bones were …show more content…
Since they have proof they animals have come and gnawed on the body they should search for any evidence that could have been carried away by one of the animals. They could be looking for body parts of Caylee Anthony or clothing. Also it is important for them to try and find a point of entry. What I mean by that is where the person who dumped her body entered the woods and the path they took to get to where her body was left. By doing that they could possibly find traces of the person who did it. They should also try and figure out if the exit route and entry route the person took were the same. This is a very difficult case for Forensic scientists. There is a lot of evidence that has been tampered with by animals. A lot of the evidence has been washed away by nature and the weather. Also the body being out there so long and decomposing makes it hard for them to. Cases like this are never easy but they usually find enough evidence to figure out who committed the

With this, it adds another factor to how Casey killed her daughter.(“Caylee Anthony’s remains found steps from road, investigators testify”) This obviously, wasn't an accident. Its no coincidence that Caylee’s body was found behind their
The story of Casey Anthony was more than odd. According to USA Today, Caylee Anthony went missing on July 15, 2008.In December of 2008, Caylee’s body was discovered in the woods near the Anthony household ( Boweman). Grandmother, Cynthia Anthony, had dialed 911 the day Caylee went missing to notify police that Casey Anthony had kidnapped the two-year-old; along with stealing a car and money. Though, it had been an odd phone call because once the car had been returned Cynthia had re-called the police saying “My daughter’s car trunk smells like there has been a dead body in it”. This is strange considering the articles of evidence found in the trunk.
With nearly 10,000 bone fragments police have a long way to go to identify all of the

By examining the muscle density and the pace of the decomposition, it was known that the body had been at the site for only a couple of days and that indeed it was Leanne’s body. This gave police hope that enough forensic evidence would be found to lead them to a killer. This also concluded that the body was stored at low temperatures during the time prior to being killed and

Anthony’s trial quickly became public, and shocked the nation after she was acquitted of all murder charges. The question remains today, how did Caylee Anthony die?
They were supposed to love and care for him, instead, 7-year-old Adrian Jones father, Michael Jones, and stepmother, Heather Jones, tortured him to death. In the rest of this essay, you will find different evidence on these theories. The first theory is Madeleine 's parents killed her inside their holiday apartment. According to the website Liverpoolecho, they believe that the McCann 's could have possibly hid Madeleine 's dead body in an unknown woman 's coffin that was going to be cremated the next day. They believe this because they later found the McCann 's were keeping a key that could open this woman 's coffin. The Telegraph stated that English police brought in dogs to sniff around the McCann 's holiday apartment.
When found, her body was unrecognisable according to the Police Officer in charge of the investigation, Inspector Wayne King. Within three days (Thursday 26) of the body being discovered,
The evidence one could observe where there is a major difference between the theory and the reality of the case is how the mode of death was discovered and how that played a role in the trial and later appeal. According to Michael D. Lyman, author of Criminal Investigation: the Art and the Science, the type of death and how the individual dies can, “be discovered through careful examination of both the deceased and the crime scene” (275). However, Foddrill’s corpse was in bad condition due to her being kept in the shed. This decomposition made it difficult for investigators to be certain how she died. For example,
