In the tragedy of Macbeth, there is much deception, murder, and sadness. It is very interesting how the story plays out with the many crimes Macbeth and his wife commit. They do get what they deserve, but not by the hand of a judge or a courtroom, and certainly not at the pace that they should have received their punishment. In Act I, Macbeth and Banquo had just returned from their battles against the invading armies of Ireland and Norway. Macbeth and Banquo then meet three witches who tell them that Macbeth is to be named Thane of Cawdor and eventually king of Scotland. As the story would have it, he is named Thane of Cawdor. Now here is where the evil comes into play. Macbeth invites King Duncan of Scotland to his castle to visit, and when he arrives, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth plot to kill the king while he is sleeping. Macbeth is hesitant about the whole scheme, but his wife pressures him and he caves in. That night, despite the guilt and vision of a bloody dagger, Macbeth murders the king. This is just the first of Macbeth’s many evil deeds. Many people would like to think that he would have been caught after the murder of a king… right? Wrong, he is never caught and this seems to give him a little push to do even more damage. This hopefully would not be the case in modern …show more content…

In Act 2 Scene 1 lines 64 and 65 Macbeth states, “Hear it not, Duncan, for it is a knell that summons thee to heaven or to hell”. Greed is oftentimes a powerful force. It can control one’s thought process and drive them to do things they never would have before. Macbeth is a stand up guy at first, and King Duncan thinks very highly of him. He awards him with the title of Thane of Cawdor after his bravery in battle. Macbeth seemed to be the ideal warrior that was submissive to the authority of the king.
The Thane of King Duncan, Macbeth hears a prophecy that he himself will become king later on in the future after King Duncan. This then leads to Macbeth being overcome by greed. In the play Macbeth, Macbeth’s fate is what drives him to his decisions for both power and greed. This is portrayed when Macbeth when he kills Banquo and his son because his greed sees them as a threat to his throne, killing the king for power above all mortals, and his fate ultimately leading to his death and freeing time. Macbeth” is a tragedy written by Shakespeare. The story is played somewhere between 1600 and was performed for King James 1.It is a tragedy about a man’s fall. It could be suggested that macbeth is responsible for the death of king Duncan. According to my point of view, Macbeth didn’t killed Duncan , banquo and macduff 's family because he wanted to be evil because he met the witches .He did everything because of ambition, jealousy , lust for power and because he was power hungry from the beginning.
In general, Shakespeare emphasizes that ambition for power and wealth can invalidate morality in human nature. Victory has sworn upon Macbeth and Banquo after the defeat of the king 's traitor Macdonwald. Shortly in the midst of returning home Banquo and Macbeth halt when three suspicious ladies came into view. One by one they told Macbeth his upcoming abundance of power.
Macbeth, Crime and Punishment Macbeth, a warrior, earns the title of Thane of Cawdor early in the play. His wife, Lady Macbeth, wants him to become king like the witches prophesied. They make a plan to kill Duncan while Macbeth starts to kill other people. All this murder begins to weigh heavily on the Macbeth’s and they start going crazy with guilt.
King Duncan then decided he would go to Macbeth 's house for dinner where Lady Macbeth had already been made aware of the situation with the witches and that Macbeth was not named king. When Macbeth arrives home she suggests they kill him, after he declines, she starts questioning his manhood and peer pressures him until he decides to kill Duncan. This act scarred the two sons of Duncan so they fled the country and Macbeth was crowned. Obviously the play ends with Macbeth as the villain, dethroned and beheaded.
