Joan of Arc, a 17-year-old peasant who led the French to victory in the Hundred Years War was captured by the British trial for witchcraft, and burned by the stake. Joan Of Arc rallied the French knights to victory in the Hundred Years' War. The Middle ages in Europe had knights in many countries like France, Germany, and England. Siege weapons and hand weapons played an important role during the middle ages. In Japan samurais and their weapons play a major role. The Hundred Years' War and Crusades were major wars during the dark ages. Siege weapons and hand weapons played an important role in the middle ages. The hundred years' war showed how greedy people can be and added major advancements. The reason for the Hundred Years' War is that the king of France died with no family to take the throne. Two men wanted it, one being a British king but the French person took the throne. The king of Britain was very mad so he declared war on France to take the French throne. It is British versus France British annihilated first because of the longbow but the French got a peasant girl named Joan Of Arc to lead them to victory. But later on in the war, Joan is staked by the British. France gets revenge and wins the war. France obtained the win for the war because of Joan of Arc. France didn't gain anything because they were under attack. The Crusades ended many things and brought even more advanced stuff for civilization in the dark ages. The Crusades helped end feudalism by killing off many Europe knights to fight for the holy land, and it also re-opened trade routes because people got to see the outer world. There are eight crusades in all: it is Europe versus The Muslims The crusades are mainly in the middle east, and they are fighting for the holy land to take it back from the Muslims. The Crusades was a 174-year-long war. The only crusade the Europeans won was the first Crusade attacking the Jews (the same team). Later it just became money grabs for knights.
