The Western Roman Empire fell in 476 AD. There were many factors that went into the fall of the Roman Empire. Economic problems they dealt with was one of the main reasons the Empire fell. Since the romans were not doing good Economically they could not fund the military in order to protect them, which also led to the fall of their military. Socio-Political problems were also a factor; there was a decline in interest to public affairs. While that was happening a civil war was going on. The military was in bad shape and was interfering with the politics. When Diocletian split the empire it was a monumentally mistake. He divided the empire based on language with the western side speaking Latin and the East side speaking Greek. When Diocletian Died a civil war broke out because there was so much unrest inside the country. Social Problems were a factor people lost confidence in the Roman Empire. People just let the Fall of Rome just happen they did not care. The population went down due to diseases. The country could not hold its own against other world powers such as the huns and the germans. The Germans overran the city of Rome this lead to downfall because it was the end of the country ir got destroyed by foreian invaders. The Roman Empire was on its last breath. The Germanic invaders finally ousted the last roman empire by 476 AD. The end of the Roman Empire finally happened. In conclusion, The three Major causes of the the Fall of Rome were Economic Problems, Socico-Politcal problems, and external invasions The Roman Empire finally fell in 476 AD. The results of the Roman Empires Fall were that the Empire was completely destroyed and many new Empires were born. The Franks conquered most of the western empire after the fall of Rome.
