How would you feel if you were faced with a near-death experience by a serial killer dawning a mask made of human skin and a chainsaw? This movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a 2022 American slasher film directed by David Blue Garcia. It makes a reference to the original “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” (1974). The movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre discusses a famous serial killer called Leatherface, who hid his face under the masks of his murdered victims. The theme of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was about survival and fighting to overcome their worst fears and to fight them off. The first scene (8:15 -12:18) begins with young entrepreneurs Melody and Dante, Melody's sister Lila and Dante's girlfriend Ruth travel to the abandoned Texas town of Harlow, to auction off old properties to create a trendy, heavily gentrified area. This appeals to logos because the viewers can realize the reality of the Texas town of Harlow can be remodeled into something improved for the public. The main theme for this scene was having a vision for the town. While inspecting a dilapidated orphanage, the group discovers it is still occupied by an elderly woman called Ginny. When she claims she has papers to prove she still owns the property, an argument breaks out, briefly interrupted by a silent and towering man from upstairs. This …show more content…

There is a podcast about all these people who were related to the family and the scene of the burning schoolhouse. Sadie has an unknown father that has a name of Keith but goes by Darren M. She's trying to figure out if he did that to Mattie or not. The symbol is a podcast because it relates to a girl going missing.
In 1966 the NCAA basketball championship game consisted of the accomplished four-time NCAA tournament winner, the University of Kentucky Wildcats, and a small southwestern institution in El Paso, home of the “progressive” Texas Western College Miners. During this epoch, racism was still thriving in the South as well as the collegiate education and athletic system. Unlike most institutions of the South, Texas Western experienced integration over a decade earlier and opportuned coach Don Haskins to recruit talented players, regardless of their skin color. The film Glory Road exemplifies the many hardships these student-athletes confronted on and off the court. Prior to becoming national champs, the Miners dealt with plenty of internal tension.
Another important motif that has an interesting signification would be the Valley of Ashes. The Valley of Ashes is the depressing industrial area that is between the West Egg and New York City. This region is covered in dust and ash caused by the nearby factories. In the movie, Nick and other characters travels through and passes by the Valley of Ashes. While there is business and excitement in Manhattan, and there are ridiculous extravagancies in the West and East Egg, the Valley of Ashes would be a place that shows the darker side of the surrounding glamour.
Don’t Doubt Yourself Have you ever imagined or wondered about how you would survive fifty-four days on your own after a severe plane crash? In Gary Paulsen's adventure novel, Hatchet, he tells the story of a thirteen-year-old boy named Brian Robeson, who is stranded in the Canadian wilderness after his plane crashes. He spends the next fifty-four days alone, with only his thoughts and a hatchet. In fact, while Paulsen shows Brian was trying to survive on his own, fighting nature, he reveals a theme to his story: don’t doubt yourself or others. This theme of not doubting yourself is shown when Brian was on the plane during and after the plane crash when he wanted to end his life, and right before he was rescued.
O’Conner uses a great deal of symbolism throughout the story in order to create the theme that society is lacking holiness and becoming corrupt because of its immorality. These symbols include the three most important characters in the story, Lucynell, her daughter, and Shiftlet. The courthouse, the car, and the sunset are also symbols in the story that help contribute to the theme. O’Conner utilizes multiple people, places, and objects that represent larger ideas to construct the story’s theme that people value material items more than God, and this misjudgment has created a morally misguided society.

In this day and age teens and young adults are forced to grow up at younger age as well as go through conflicts internal or external with little to no assistance along the way. This makes the initiation to manhood seemingly harder. Everyone's circumstances are different, Everyone reacts to change differently. These events people go through shape them for the future and to the people they will become. Gary Paulsen poses this theme in his fictional adventure novel Hatchet.
“A grotesque parody of a church, the building is bottle shaped and has a grinning boy holding a hamburger aloft on top of it. Unconscious of any ludicrousness, Connie and her friend enter it as if going into a “sacred building” which will give them “what haven and blessing that yearned for.” It is the music which is “always in the background, like music at a church service” that has invested this “bright-lit, fly-infested” place with such significance”” (“Where Are You Going”). This is an example of symbolism because Connie, and her family do not attend church.
In the story, “Conquering Fear”. The author shows the readers that fear becomes smaller once faced by having Miobe climb the mountain and discover that fear is just a toad. The author first develops the theme by having Miobe go out into the world to meet the villagers. When Miobe first met the villagers they didn't believe that he would be able to conquer fear and that they were doomed and going to be conquered. Miobe set it upon himself to climb the mountain and defeat the monster and overcome the obstacle of fear.
The theme of The Wizard of Oz is, “There is no place like home.” One reason that this is the theme is that for one, Dorothy’s mission throughout The Wizard of Oz is to get back home to Kansas and Aunt Em. This shows that “There is no place like home” by implying that Dorothy wanted to get back home, because no matter what she thought, she really did belong in Kansas with her family. Another example is that Dorothy had one thing in Kansas that she did not have in Oz, and that was safety. As long as Dorothy was in Oz, she was never really safe, because of the Wicked Witch of the West, and other events that put Dorothy in danger.
Along with the time being confirmed, the author again doubles down on the fact that the owner of the home is wealthy due to the sheer strength of a mere door
The theme of the science fiction teleplay “The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street” by Rod Serling is fear. The teleplay “The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street” also reveals that when people are afraid they tend to act irrationally. For instance after Charlie shoots Pete Van Horn everybody starts to blame him, call him the monster, and so he runs away before anything could get worse and because he does so they start to chase him. “A man breaks away from the crowd to chase Charlie.
