Everyone is miserable in a dystopia but, everyone in a utopia is happy. In a dystopia the people are you usually abused by their government. In a utopia the people are usually treated fairly and nicely. Although, many people believe war defines utopia and peace defines utopia, in reality bad government actions define a dystopia and knowledge defines a utopia. You can see this in any type of literature.

Banned books can be great books that teach people important messages. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings is a biography about Maya Angelou's life and the tough situations she faced in life. Certain banned books such as Maya Angelou’s I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings should not be banned due to the importance of the topics and situations the author talks about.

I believe that the only reason banned books are banned is because it teaches us about information that they don't want us to learn yet. Banned books share valuable information and lessons. Book Banning I think that the root problem with the book banning/burning was the level of maturity in the certain individuals affected. Both of these books were not made for children.
