The sugar act in 1764 made British laws charge on the sugar by the other products that were charge.1751-1764 the stamp and quartering act was in 1765, stamp act was required certain printed materials and the quartering act was forced to feed and shelter the British Soldiers. When the British started taxing them and throwing their tea away the Americans got tired of the British controlling them so they fought back. Anyway, Stamp Act was working negatively to us as Sugar Act was (117). As you know I am a part of patriots community. Right after the Stamp Act was established, we, Sons of Liberty in New York, attempted to resolve the problem and proposed "a Congress of the Sons of Liberty" in order to establish a uniform society (117). Our effort failed, but Committees of Correspondence were created, loosely connecting all the colonies. This connection helped to unite colonies together.

The Stamp Act was created to further pay off British debt after the Sugar Act was repealed. This act taxed all legal documents, newspapers, and even playing cards. This act angered the colonists much more than the Sugar Act.

Nevertheless England wanted implemented economic policy known as mercantilism, which focuses on profit of trade.7 England began to pass legislation to ensure that it reaped more trade benefits from its colonial possessions.7 England passed acts that would benefit from the products being created in the new world. One significant act was the Stamp Act 1765, which imposed on all American colonists and required them to pay a tax on every piece of printed paper they used. This stamp act created animosity between the colonies and England because the colonies believed this was just another way to get money out of the colonies without the approval of the colonial legislatures.8 The colonies soon wanted to be free from the reign of the British rule

The Sugar Act was to prevent the colonies from printing their own money, and being able to proceed with gaining money. The act called Stamp Act was a tax on colonists, to gain more money by placing a tax on stamps and paper items such as playing cards, paper, and other miscellaneous items like dice. After passing the Stamp Act colonists were enraged about the taxing on their items by the British Parliament. Therefore they boycotted by not buying all the taxed items, years later the British Parliament repealed the stamp act cause of the boycott.

Following a victory of the Seven Years’ War the British made policy changes on how to handle the American colonies. These policies were to enforce trade regulations, as well as collecting money to help pay for the expenses of the British Empire. These policies would be The Sugar Act, which helped making the collection of taxes on molasses more efficient. Then in 1765, The Stamp Act was created. The Stamp Act would spread the English Tax on newspapers, legal documents and other prints.

The colonies are currently paying a large amount of money in taxes for the resources of themselves. Not only are the people unable to afford it, but the people are not used to paying so much of their hard earned money on taxes. The Stamp Act is the first direct tax that the colonists have

The Stamp Act In 1765 The Stamp Act was passed where they had to pay stamp tax on every paper they bought. The colonists didn’t mind but they had no say about the new law. This made them quiet angry so they started to revolt about it.

The French and Indian War left England with a debt of £130,000,000. To help pay off the debt Britain set up taxes, to collect money, on frequently used products by the colonists. The Molasses Act put a six pence tax on every gallon of molasses. The colonists thought this was a lot of money to pay so they did everything to avoid it. This act was not really enforced and the colonists did not really obey this act.

England came to the conclusion that through their neglect towards the Colonies and not paying attention to them, they were able to do what they wanted. Britain enforcing the Stamp Act resulted in a huge deterioration to the Economy.
