But, those men were solely out for blood. They knew who they were dealing with when they saw the Moravians picking corn that day, and they knew that the Moravians were peaceful, but they did not care. In fact, when the men came to murder the Moravians, the Indians submitted to them because they had no reason not to do so. They were allies with the colonists and they had always dealt peacefully with them. But, the militia wanted revenge, and even though the Moravians had no part in killing the colonists, the militia considered every Indian, even innocent ones, deserving of torturous

• 1st Activity of the Shawnee Tribe: Pontiac’s Rebellion Pontiac’s Rebellion, also known as the Pontiac War, broke out in the Ohio River Valley from 1763 to 1766. The British were fighting in this war along with the Native Indian tribes that lived within an area controlled by New France before their defeat in the French Indian War, which is known as the Pays d’en haut meaning the upper country. In 1763, Chief Pontiac led a rebellion of multiple tribes of the upper country against the British. In the Summer of 1763, Chief Pontiac launched attacks on the British in which left only Fort Pitt and Detroit in British hands.

Through the Regulator movement and land riots in America, they both were due to issues within land, class and power throughout colonial America. From the late 1760s throughout the early 1770s, America started to see a rise in issues between the people and the authorities. The colonists were especially angered by the taxation policies that were imposed by the British government, of course seeing these laws as unfair and unjust. As a result of these upset and unjust acts, rebellions and riots broke out throughout the colonies to oppose the laws placed on them through the British government. These events highlighted the social unrest between the classes and how the power dynamic was heavily influenced by the control fo land and the wealth of the

King Philip’s War, also known as The First Indian War, was the Native American’s (in Southern New England) last attempt at saving their lands from colonial expansion. The tribes involved with fighting back to the English Settlers were the Pokanoket, Nipmucks, Naragansetts, and Pocumtucks. The resistance were led under Chief Metacon of the Pokunoket Tribe. This desperate uprising persisted for 14 months, which, in result, took 12 towns on the frontier. After the 14 months of war, Chief Metacom was captured by the English Settlers and executed.

This war was called King William's War to the colonists. They ransacked regions of upstate New York, Nova Scotia and Quebec, making refugees go to the county of Essex, but mainly in the Salem Village in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. What use to to be called Salem, we call now call

Most of their war was peaceful, yet the Regulators did resort to violence on occasion. In 1770 in response to having their peaceful request ignored, they forcefully entered the Hillsborough Supreme Court where they attacked lawyers, threw the judge off the bench, and proceeded to have a court session of their own. Governor Tryon then passed the Johnston Riot Act, in an attempt to subdue the regulators from making another march to Hillsborough, which allowed for military intervention in the case of a riot. Regulators eventually encountered a military force on their way to Hillsborough at Alamance Creek where the trained troops overpowered the under matched rebels. The Regulator movement was over, but their mentality towards freedom carried over to the provincial congress and later the state

During the first years of the English settlements of North America the people who immigrated from England they formed colonies that with the support of the British government. The colonist didn 't pay a lot of taxes on their trading benefits to the government. Through the years, the King and the parliament started raising taxes on almost everything that the colonist was producing in the colonies. The colonists weren 't happy with the new taxation that the king was charging to the colonies, and it led the colonist to protest at British empire. There are several reasons why the colonists revolted against the British government.

The English colonist who settled in Massachusetts received assistance at first from the local Indians tribes, but by 1675 there had been friction between the English and the Indians for many years. On June 20 of that year, Metacomet, whom the colonists called Philip, led the Wampanoag tribe in the first of a series of attacks on the colonist settlements. The war, known today as King Philip’s War, raged on for more than a year and left three thousand Indians and six hundred colonist dead. Metacomet’s attempt to retain power in his native land failed. Finally he too is killed, and the victorious colonists sold his wife and children into slavery.

he infamous street fight that took place in Boston, Massachusetts is referred to as The Boston Massacre. The Boston Massacre occurred on March 5, 1770. The riot started when a few young boys began to throw stones and rocks at British soldiers who were guarding the Customs House. The crowd around the boys started to grow larger and larger, and then people from the crowd begun to join the boys, throwing ice at the soldiers and taunting them. The soldiers then fired, killing five colonists.

The Boston Massacre took place on March 5th, 1770. During the Boston Massacre the colonies decided to take action and attack a group of british soldiers. This was the start of the protest as the British were becoming aware of the american colonists act of interrogation. Later on on December 16th, 1773 the Boston Tea party had occurred.
