The anti bullying policy should be followed so that children and young people feel welcomed, secure and happy while in a place of learning. Anti bullying policies and procedures are in place to protect everyone, this ensures that there is a zero tolerance on bullying. As the children in my setting are under the age of 5 and haven't yet reached the stage of understanding what the term bullying is, we therefore have a behavior policy to prevent children from hurting or repeating unwanted types of behavior.
