I had an awesome summer this year! My family and I spent lots of time with our relatives and doing fun activities. During the summer we rodeo, spent time with family, worked, went on vacation and just spent time with friends. Read below to find more about my exciting summer. Rodeo is something I do a lot in the summer. This summer was my first time getting to compete in high school rodeo. The reason I like rodeo is because you meet a lot of new friends who share your interests, getting to be with my favorite animal, competing, and getting to spend time with close friends and family. My favorite event is poles and barrels are my least favorite. The poles are a fun event because I have a really fast horse name Kuzco, and he’s really good at …show more content…
I enjoy doing cross country because the people I do it with. I like our coaches they are very positive and fun to be around you can always hear them cheering you on at the meets. I like my teammates they are always nice and also cheering you on at the meets. Cross country has taught me to be a better team mate and to relax and just have fun. Thanks to my sisters for persuading me to join the team! When I was younger, I was never a fan of camping. I did enjoy it when my cousin Jackson came and we would play with our toy horses and cows. Now that I’m older I enjoy it a lot more now. I enjoy the fact that most of my family is there and I get to see them and spend time with them. Jackson and I go on bike rides now or just spend time catching up if we aren’t out swimming. My grandpa Wally and grandma Linda have a boat so every time we go camping they will take us out and let us go tubing. I sometimes get scared doing that because Jackson enjoys trying to push me off. I really enjoy camping and I think more people should try it!
I really wish summer didn’t have to go so soon, but I’m looking forward for the other seasons too. Rodeo, open runs, and camping are some of my favorite things to do during the summer. I already can’t wait for summer to start again. Thanks for everyone who made my summer one to
To me, running is the greatest feeling I could ever feel. In my elementary days I knew I was the fastest kid on the playground. So naturally when I got to high school track was a must for me. My first track meet I was so nervous it felt like my heart was in my stomach. Then as I set myself up in my blocks, close my eyes, and wait for the gun to go off it was like everything went quiet.
Hi Yasna, It 's Samantha, the associate you interviewed Friday for sales lead. Sorry for the extremely late email, this is the first chance I 've gotten to write you. Today I went by Children 's Place at Eastridge, and spoke with Diana. You had asked me to see what I noticed that was different from Eastridge and Valley Fair, and the first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how much smaller the store is compared to Valley Fair. I also noticed how there is less traffic coming through at Eastridge then there is at Valley fair.
I hope your summer was just as good as mine. This summer I read the The Boys in the Boat, and I enjoyed the author’s details about how the olympics went upon their success. I was very surprised how the author was very detailed about the struggles they overcome. As I was reading, I thought of our team sports class and how Daniel James Brown’s descriptions of not giving up and working together as one related to our classes discussions about playing certain sports.
I 'm Kin Storm. I 'm 20 years old. I 'm from Las Venturas, my type of clothing, style, skills, the way I talk, all came from the Las Venturas. I had to leave my previous job, fisherman, just for the sake of reuniting my family. I 'm here today to be part of the FBI, because not all of the people have the chance to join this faction , although sometimes, I see effort in them.
STL Fire By: Nicholas Whittington My baseball team really stinks! "That 's it!" I told my mom after two of my Knights games. " I can 't keep playing with the Knights.
It was March 1963 at Mississippi State University. I was going to class early to get in some last minute cramming before the test over chapter 14. Even though my friend Eric Swan and I study all night. Eric was my best friend from high school. Eric and I did everything together, except when he was with his racist friends.
Before I even stepped into my high school as an official freshman I knew I was going to be a part of my school one way or the other. I made it a goal to be a part of some type of extra-curricular project all four years. This goal I know I have succeeded in because I have been a part of the following extra- curricular projects: three years of SWAT club, four years of Raider Riot, and three varsity sports. All of these extra- curricular projects have made my high school career not only interesting but also made me a better person in the long run. One of the only clubs I was able to be a part of in high school was the SWAT club.
Cross country is more than just a sport. Most people associate cross country with running, but there are other things that come to mind when I think of cross. Family, pasta parties, get togethers, overnights, and the most devoted teammates come to mind. My life has been changed by cross country in so many different ways. Since I joined the men's high school cross country team three years ago, I've picked up a ton of really valuable life skills.
I Love Rodeos I love to go to rodeos. I fell in love with rodeos at a very young age. I remember watching the horses trot around the arena. I would sit in the front row and admire the beauty of the horses. I love the atmosphere that rodeos have, it is indescribable.
Making it to the national high school rodeo finals is something I will never forget. Nationals is the biggest youth rodeo in the world and is made up of over 1,500 contestants. Each contestant competes in 2 rounds and possibly a short round depending on how well they do. Making nationals had always been a dream of mine and last year I achieved that. I made it in the cutting horse division and to do
I have been waiting since the start of summer for this day, the day to go against Topeka West the school that have been talking stuff for the longest. There was so much hype about this game and it was finally here, when the bell ringed at the end of the day i rushed out of class and got on the bus to head over to chandler our practice field. After we ate and got ready coach talk to us for a little bit and then we got on the bus to head to Hummer sports park, it was a loud bus
My Theme Song Songs can connect with how we feel and our experiences. Music has been a major part of my life ever since I was just a toddler. For me music has helped me express what I am feeling and who I am as a person. My therapy has been music, it has helped me through almost every problem I have faced. With listening to the song lyrics, we can get a true understanding of what the artist is trying to tell us.
“What’s your favorite time of year?” “Summer!” This is a common question asked by an adult, and a typical reply from a child. Of course summer is their favorite time of the year because they have summer break! 10-12 weekes full of sun and fun!
In the small town of San Diego, Texas is where the Mew Ranch lies. The ranch is 300 acres of mesquite trees and dirt roads filled with all different kinds of wildlife. This ranch has been in my my family a little over 125 years. My great great great great uncle, John Cleary, was the mayor of this thriving town back in the day that was known for its sheep farming. Everyone adored John Cleary and when elections were coming up, everyone knew that John was going to win.
I consider becoming a fencer has been one of the best choices I have ever made. Ever since I watched the Die Another Day fencing scene I had always wanted to be like James Bond. I went into fencing looking for a way to blow off steam, but what I found at the Tulsa Fencing Club was a community that accepted me. The years I have spent in competitive fencing has taught me that discipline and patience are paramount to success.
