This case doesn't only affect the tinkers but also the students at school. If the school district took back the Tinker’s suspension, it would be exposed to the other students which would tell them that there is freedom. By letting them being exposed to more freedom there would be a better community and they would have a better future. Schools are supposed to help students become better at what they do, help them prepare for the future, including college, and teaches students to be "better citizens” and make a better community. In order to do that, school should give students, including the Tinkers, freedom in order for them to succeed in their future.

By increasing awareness not only will teachers be looking after suspicious behavior but students as well.

The First Amendment says that we are in tiled to your own freedom of speech even as a minor. In schools the teachers are trying to limit what students can say, do, or wear. There should be some restrictions placed but not as many as there are. It should stay where students have freedom of speech because it opens students up for more opinion in the class and on there work. It also lets students feel like they are not being controlled by someone.

Although when giving students suspension it does give them time to reflect, school suspension is not a good punishment because, when students are taken out of school for a couple of days they miss assignments and do not take responsibility for their conduct, when students go to in-school suspension they do not receive the day’s class work, work is completed incorrectly, and/or students use time to sleep, and all in all, the students do not get the correct help they need to overcome the problem whereas if the student was treated with a system called restorative justice, the student could learn to not go through the same situation. The specific amendments broken by the public school officials are primarily the fifth and sixth. Public schools are not allowed to take away rights and liberties given to the American people. There are public schools all over the world and those in public schools are not getting the proper education that they need. It seems public schools only provide the public with the bare minimum. This bare minimum can become very discouraging to parents, students and the entire public community in which the school is. Most Supreme Court rulings agree that school districts across the nation, and across the world, really only need to provide the bare minimum legally. This present an issue, if the professionals are only supposed to give the bare minimum then they themselves will be given the bare minimum.

Censorship is a serious matter that has been discussed through the years. People are divided on whether censorship should be in school libraries or if it should not. Books such as “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”, “The Autobiography of Malcolm X" and many more have been greatly affected because of book banning. Not everyone has the same style, which causes outrage when certain books are banned. For example, if one book was banned and people prefered that book, it can make the community furious.
