Positive Effects Of The Industrial Revolution Essay

Although the industrial revolution had positive impacts such as helping the economy, it led many places to illiteracy, loss of life, and an increase in crime rate. There were many great effects of the Industrial Revolution, which helped Great Britain's economy grow more efficiently. Firstly, Great Britain was the first country to industrialize, meaning they had cheaper goods which other countries at the time were in need of leading Great Britain to mass trading. Secondly, when they made factories, they required people to work in these factories, leading to growth in the employment rate. Lastly, document 4 states that industrialization made “not only travel at less expense but travels ten times quicker than two hundred years ago”.

The Industrial Revolution affected people in different ways both by bad and good effects. The Industrial revolution was a good and a bad time with both positive and negative things happening during this time. There were plenty of positive effects on the Industrial Revolution. In Document 7 it says about how there was equal rights for men and women. In document 3 employment grew a lot which is good so people could get more jobs.

In the 18th century began a great movement called the Industrial Revolution. While the Industrial Revolution was a great turning point in the history of mankind, it had both positive and negative effects. The Industrial Revolution led our civilization to great technological advancements as well as great losses. During the Industrial Revolutions, many inventions were made.

Industrial revolution was a major change in the way global economy worked and how labor changed during the industrial revolution. Machines started being used in a larger scale and less workers where needed, as a result there were less jobs for people. Urbanization is the increase in population that is due to people moving from small farming communities to cities because they needed jobs and were looking for wage labor so they developed new factories. Urbanization in society was positive because it caused an increase in factories which led to more jobs, goods and resources that benefited people. Urbanization was caused by the increase of population which is shown in the chart of Document B, that the population doubled and in some cases tripled

The industrial revolution improved and is still improving our community, but it wasn’t all good. The good things that came from this revolution didn’t start out well. Many rules had to be made because of these corrupt ways. The industrial revolution did many great things that improve our society today. These rules and improvements were made because of the ways things were done before.

The industrial revolution was both positive and negative for our country. Despite the fact that there were many good things that came out of about the revolution there was many more negatives for the people at the time. A few of these consequences included low and unequal pay, child labor, no job guarantee, and poor living conditions. These situations made it obvious to the government that something needed change, but it took a while for them realize it resulting in injuries and even death. Although it did take awhile for them to realize what they needed do to prevent this, eventually they did figure out laws to help stabilize and grow in in a healthy way.

The American Industrialization was in the late 1800’s making many things to improve the economy. The American Industrialization was caused by multiple factors, some of the factors included a growing population, a willing work force, high tariffs, among many more. These effects made people willing to work at lower wages so they can get jobs and buy American made goods. There were many outcomes of the Industrial Revolution, both positive, like improving people's lives, and negative effects, like exploitation of workers. The positive effects of American Industrialization is how it make work cheaper, employed thousands of workers, and improving people’s lives.

For example, an insignificant amount of factories gave their workers an education, as well as a satisfying wage to put food on the table. Also in document three Andrew Ure states that no worker has been beaten during working hours. In addition, no worker has ever felt exhausted after a day of work.

During the Industrial Revolution, we see many new inventions, ideas, and cultures be created and established. All these changes contributed to the growth of economic power in the United States. This growth allowed the formation of big business to rise. All these factors have played a huge role in how we see our daily lives today. They helped us create laws and social norms that we follow today.

The Industrial Revolution witnessed the evolution of large urban centers, such as Boston and New York City. It changed society from agrarian to mechanical, which further moved jobs to larger cities. As every coin has two sides, there are negative sides to this. Primarily, it caused severe pollution. The environment condition was bad with smokes surrounding them.

The Industrial Revolution has changed America in many ways, some good and some bad. The most important changes that brought about the Industrial Revolution were the invention of machines to do the work of hand tools, the use of steam, and later of other kinds of power, in place of the muscle of human beings and animals, and the adoption of the factory system. In my opinion the Industrial Revolution has done more good for America than it has done harm. In the beginning of the Industrial Revolution there weren’t many laws that governed the industries.

As the Industrial Revolution came about in the early 1800’s and it had a big impact on not only how people lived, but how long people lived. From the British Medical Journal, The Lancet, the life expectancy of a professional was only to the age of 38, it was 20 years old for a person of the middle class or an average person, and for a laborer in the factories the life expectancy was about 17 years old. (Doc. 8) The reason for terrible numbers is all of the pollution in the air and water throughout the city. Effects of the Industrial Revolution The Industrial Revolution was an important event in history. It brought about many positives during its time. For instance, kids were well fed, educated, and clothed. There were plenty of negatives, as well. One very sad example was the machine injuries that happened to both children and adults.
