Persavsive Paragragh I think Grandview R2 Middle School should have recess. Recess would provide more phyisical activities and exersize for kids,also i think recess provides free time for kids to get away from work for a little bit. The normal time to have recess would be after lunch to let energy befor comming back to class. Also i think recess is a time for kids to let out stress from work that has been put on them. Recess help kids stay active and healthy also it would help kids not sleep in class while doing his or her work.

Schoolies week is a festival held on the Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise for year 12 students who have just finished school. The schoolies organisation host different events such as the beach party, the glow party and the movie night. There is a large amount of controversy about weather schoolies week should still be going or not. There are a lot of issues involved with schoolies such as underage drinking, drug use, unsafe sex, injury and sometimes death. 1,500 teenagers attending Schoolies on the Gold Coast are surveyed each year by Drug Arm Australia.

Many high school seniors who plan on going to college or get a job may have good grades but they might not have gotten involved with any clubs or activities at school or anywhere else. When students get involved with their school it shows others that they enjoy working with others and exploring what they might enjoy doing. It also shows how they can help out others and how they can benefit each other.

If the school day gets any longer and we get out of school at a later time, our athletes will be practicing at a later time, and will not have time to get their homework done before needing to go to bed to get a decent amount of sleep. Leonardo Da Vinci once said, “Learning Never Exhausts The Mind.” This describes the upcoming tests and events yet to come of my eighth grade year. There are various new challenges and experiences that come with the title of being an eighth grader. I hope to tackle every experience effectively and maturely. As eighth graders we have numerous occasions to prove ourselves as mature young adults.

Why don’t middle schoolers have a “recess” or free period? Honestly I don’t know. But in my opinion, all grades should have some type of free period like recess. This could help make friends, let the teachers have a break, and give us extra time for missing work or homework. All in all, it is a good thing for us, and even high school.

All Year Round Schooling Some people would not mind having an all year round school, but why? When people think of year-round education they immediately relate it to no summer vacations. But having an all year-round education has a couple good things to offer. Back in the day when schools had just began, summers were necessary because children needed to help their families by working on their families farms, but nowadays it isn't like that. One you would not have such a long break from school to forget everything you learned from the school year before.

Additionally, School days would be exceptionally longer. School is already long enough if you ask me. Why make it any longer than it has to be? For kids who have after school practices or hobbies involved with the school would stay even longer. The Cross Country kids have to run in the mornings and they would have to stay at school for nearly half of a full day.

The day that we don’t have school could be the day that we could make up work and turn in assignments online on classroom. A little homework for each class would help out a lot. Teachers want to teach students and have them know all the knowledge that they teach and maybe use it in the later day lives and longer days with longer periods would let those teachers take their time teaching their subjects. This also allows students to take their time in getting their toughest work done. The class periods would probably be over an hour long but longer school days is a must if you for sure have four day weeks.

A recess in the middle school could look like a time where students can go outside and walk the track or socialize with their peers. Middle schoolers need to socialize as well and this break period is a perfect time for them to do it. This will help them feel more comfortable in the class as well as be ready to focus on the next task at hand. This could also look like an activity time when student get to choose whether they want to play kick-ball, soccer or walk the track giving them the option to choose what they want to do, but still getting them up and active to help promote learning in the classroom at its highest

After school, from 3 to 6 p.m, is a critical period of time in a child’s life. After school programs help keep kids safe and inspire them to learn during that period of time. After school programs are organized programs that youth can participate in outside of a traditional school day. Enrolling children in after school programs would provide them with benefits that unenrolled children would not receive, such as reduce risky behavior and promote physical health. After school programs provide a safe environment for children, while positively impacting their academics, safety, and their future.
