The Volunteer Spirit is something I experience every single day with my immediate family and my volunteer family. Growing up in Tennessee, I have spent my whole life dreaming of attending and graduating The University of Tennessee as my four older siblings and grandad have done before me. The Volunteer Spirit, to me, means loving your fellow man, working hard, and possibly most importantly, loving Tennessee Volunteers Football!
The Volunteers have always played a huge role in my life. I remember when my brother was a cheerleader at the university, how excited I was to go to every home game and support our team. There is something about Neyland Stadium that you cannot experience anywhere else. As soon as I walk into the stadium I can feel the

It does not matter if it is basketball or football we are always excited to support the vols! The first thing I did after receiving my acceptance letter was drive over to show my grandparents’ house and show them. To see how proud they were of me, honestly gave me chills.
I am beyond excited to arrive on campus as a student; I know that the next four years will shape me into the man I am to become. I have always held myself to a high academic and moral standard, therefore I believe joining a fraternity will be an amazing and helpful experience. Knowing that I will be surrounded by other passionate young men driven to succeed and filled with the volunteer spirit gives me great confidence.
Something that excites me very much about the University of Tennessee is the diversity. I believe that inclusion of everyone is a key virtue of the volunteer spirit. The only way to grow and prosper is to accept everyone as they are and work together to reach your common goal. This is something that UT does very well and I know I can continue to push this initiative.
Upon graduation from the Haslam College of Business I plan to enroll in the two-year MBA program. Being able to earn my masters at UT will be incredibly beneficial for me as I begin my career right here in Tennessee. I cannot wait until I have the opportunity to give back to the university that has already done so much for me. I suppose the reason I have such a passion for the University of Tennessee is because the vol spirit is part of me. It always has been and always will
A few weeks ago, I was finally able to make my first Georgia Southern baseball game. I am not proud that it took over a year for me to ultimately make a game. I have never been the biggest baseball fan, but I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to see Georgia Southern play the University of Georgia. I was very curious to see how the stadium and field looked, because I heard about the new renovations that the school added in the offseason. I also was interested to analyze how they promote their sponsors, because I will be doing the same thing when I start my internship this fall, at East Coweta High School.
On top of this BYU has an elite academic profile worth at least ten times the current cost of tuition. It’s a very competitive school and I can’t wait to be pushed to be the best student I can and fully live up to the potential I have. Furthermore, Networking at BYU is unbelievable. You can secure lifelong friends and extensive contacts for the future.
However, I had always told myself that I would someday re enroll, earn a degree, and graduate so that I could be a prime example for my four children as to what never giving up looks like. I believe this college would enable me to earn a degree without taking on a heavy financial burden. In addition, I appreciate the flexible structure of programs which would fit into my current lifestyle as a busy mom. And, I definitely love the maturer yet diverse environment the school has to offer.
Now, I am ready to continue on this scholarly journey by attending Texas Southern University. My interest in Texas Southern comes from my admiration with Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the location of the university and the reputation of Master of
It was misconception, however, because attending this school would bring even more than those I had before. My parents could never be able to afford this school for me, but that didn 't stop me from desiring to live in a place where I knew, opportunities were around every corner and I was right. My University has been so generous since the day I stepped foot on campus and has provided me the support I need to be successful. My responsibilities are still in tact, I 'm working hard to stay in good academic standing, balancing work and organizations, and helping out at home the best I can from hours away. The doors that have opened since I decided to attend Texas A&M are those which I would have never came into contact with if I had failed to believe in myself as well as the Aggies who were immediate to congratulate me when I did.
I will not lie to you UNC Wilmington was not my first choice of schools, I was the kid who wanted to get out of the area and explore. My dreams originated elsewhere in big cities living in the fast lane and no turning back. I felt this way all of the way up until about two weeks ago, this was when I realized everything I want and or need in life is right here in Wilmington. Love also played a big factor in my decision to want to attend UNC Wilmington but a love much more than that of any significant other this love is for my school. I attend Heide Trask High School, it is very small and the athletics are very lack luster at best.
As an athlete myself the athletics are a major part of why I would like to go to Archbishop Mitty High School. The wide range of sports means that if I grow tired of one sport I can move to another. With a lot of sports that do not need much experience since they are non-cut, I feel that I have many opportunities to shine in sports that I would otherwise never have attempted. Knowing that Archbishop Mitty High School has won so many awards in the athletic department, tells me that they are doing something right. At the open house, I had the chance to speck with athletes and coaches and that gave me a feeling that the athletics are another part of Mitty 's wonderful community.
Because of the amount of experience and knowledge that I have gained throughout the course of being a member of Blinn TEAM, I think that it is fair to say that I am a seasoned and worth-while contestant to transfer into Texas A&M. Being on Blinn TEAM has taught me a different level of time management, prioritization, and dedication that I believe fully enrolled Texas A&M or Blinn students do not have the opportunity to experience. Not only am I a Blinn TEAM student- I am a member of the Corps of Cadets, a New Student Conference Orientation Leader, and a student worker. I have ingrained myself to Texas A&M not only academically, but by plunging myself into the culture and tradition.
Running through the infected ship, I was crushing every enemy in my way. If I stopped running, then I would become one of them. I am a green super-soldier by the name of John-117 aka the Master Chief. Sometimes, when I wasn’t the Master Chief, I was the Arbiter. I was an alien that was betrayed by his alliance working alongside the Master Chief.
The college has assisted in my growth both academically as well as socially. I have nearly completed my associates degree. I have participated the college 's bowling team and SSS (Student Support Services). As well as becoming a member of my community college 's chapter of Phi Theta Kapp.
I experience this joy every time I volunteer, and I recognize it as one of life 's greatest pleasures. My most rewarding volunteer experience was the time I operated a game booth at my church 's annual fair. I
1. In the summer of 2017, I volunteered once a week for 6-8 weeks with an organization called The First Tee, which works with youth to teach them life skills via the game of golf. Starting as young as 5-6 years old, the participants learn to play golf and develop their skills in the sport, but a large aspect of the organization’s mission is to teach children life skills such as integrity, honesty, and responsibility. Through golf they learn to be courteous to those around them and to always act with integrity as well.
I always hated helping other people because I never thought it would help me go farther than where I was. Although later in life I learned how to help others and that if you help others it does come back just in a different way. I have learned the joy of helping others so and that if I was in the same situation somebody would help me. Also after they help me I hope I can go help somebody else. That is what I think about that topic so I will go to the next.
Community service does not only have a profound impact on our community, but the impact it has on the individual people is even greater. The concept of community service has always been something that I grew up with, and now that I am older I better understand how important community service is for society. I have participated in community service activities. Starting in elementary school, I helped feed the homeless and rescue animals. Even with my wide range of volunteer experience, it was difficult to find an activity that would be meaningful and fulfill my thirty-hour obligation for my senior project.
Volunteering is a way of helping others. It is giving a person 's time and ability to help someone who may be in need of help. Not only does volunteering help others, but what they may not know is that it can be helpful to themselves. It is a great way for someone to interact with others in their community. It gives someone that time to themselves while also creating bonds when they are doing the greater good.
