Personal Narrative: A Career In Ohio

I have been dancing for four years now and know for a fact that dancing is a sport. Dancers practice everyday to improve like other sports. I have danced before but it was not as serious until I joined Color Guard my freshman year. Color Guard was mainly contemporary and ballet.

Smith began his professional career at an early age through the Frank Hatchett Professional Children’s program at Broadway Dance Center. While at BDC, Smith studied ballet, jazz, and tap. During his young age, he made appearances on the television show, Sesame Street, alongside Savion Glover as the tap-dancing cowboy. Even though Smith was totally engrossed in the dance world during elementary school, he became more interested in sports during his middle school and high school years. It was not until Savion Glover began teaching master classes at the Broadway Dance Center that Smith’s interest of tap dancing was affirmed.

I have had dance experience from the drill team and have been a member for four years. I am also in color guard, and have been for three years. Out of those three years we have gotten two Division 1’s. My junior year in high school I was the captain of the team and we got best color guard. My senior year I did not try out because of my busy schedule, but i regret not making more time for it.

Career Narrative: Psychiatrist When it comes to the work force, we have many choices of what we can do, but, it is up to us to figure out what we want to do for the rest of our lives. My career goal is to become an Adult Psychiatrist, I want to be an Adult Psychiatrist because I would like to help people who cannot help themselves. The show 's choreography and performance quality were so spectacular that the drama and intensity rocked my petite stature down to the core. After the show ended, I demanded to be signed up for dance classes; my first class was later on that year. Initially, it was a singular introductory ballet class, then it soon became three, then five, and ultimately seven dance class by the time I was seven years old. Seven hours of every week were devoted to dancing and I loved every second of it. As I got older my passion for dance continued to grow until I received a very rude awakening from a very rude Russian Pointe teacher.

I smile and hit my first pose, and all my self-doubt vanishes. Years of training have prepared me for this moment. I have been a dancer since I was five years old. When I was in the sixth grade, I joined my studio’s performing company and the Louisiana Delta Ballet, and my passion grew. I hardly ever miss a class, even though my studio is an hour away and classes are five times a week.

While soccer and sports, in general, may not have been for me, I still found myself on many fields, hockey rinks, and baseball diamonds watching my siblings compete. I did and still do look up to my siblings and watching them play all the time got me kind of interested as I aspired to like them. So a year or two after that first soccer clinic, my parents enrolled me in another clinic this time through Wellesley soccer. This time around, I loved it.

Cheer has always been my thing. No one ever will take that away from me I have plenty of awards from cheer and they will never get to take that away. I have loved my cheer girls even tho i have been through plenty of teams everyone was amazing and they always had my bad through everything and I think them so much my favorite year cheering was this year I had some of the best coaches.
