Larry Smith was speaking some true words. Do not confuse passion with interest. Passion is deep down, that 's what you want to find. It is a deep down love. Interests are things you like but not love, its not a deep down love for something.
When I was a youngster, I really wanted to be a professional dirt bike rider. That all changed when I entered Middle School, my passion was to be a cop. That’s what I wanted to do up until I was a junior. Ms. Lewman one day asked me if I wanted to be a chaperone for the Special Olympics. I of course said yes, not knowing what I was getting my self into. When that trip was over, I then found my passion. Being a cop was just a mere interest. My passion now is being a Special Education teacher. Everything
