Personal Narrative: A Career In Middle School

Well, it was something I always wanted to do from the time I was a child. But when I was in grade twelve deciding whether I was going to go to the university for drama, then 9/11 happened. That made me kinda put the brakes on. I wanted to do something that could affect people more--something that was more helpful. So instead of applying to drama school, I went to be a police officer instead.

When I was in elementary school I wasn’t the brightest kid. In fact, I always got B’s, C’s, and sometimes a D at school. Despite getting that score, my parents rarely got mad at me. As a kid, I would always wondered why my parents never care about it, and a lot of time I would think to myself that none of my parents is actually care about me. Going home from school, I got jealous of my friends that got picked up by their parents.

There's a lot of drama in middle school and it can be tiring. There's always something going on around this school and nothing stays between you and someone else. My group in biotech class were talking about one of my friends. I didn't say anything against her, but the girl that said everything told her I said everything.

It would definitely be a difficult transition for me going to a brand new place with hulking monsters known to everyone as the eighth graders. Going to middle school would mean that I would have to meet new people from other elementary schools and that I could possibly lose my old friends. I really wanted to stay behind in elementary school where everything seemed so predictable and friendly.

I am so sorry if you ever had to read that Friday nights story. I don’t know what I was thinking while I was writing it. There are so many swears grammar mistakes and to top it all off a confusing boring underdeveloped storyline. As much as I hate this writing and wish it would go away I like to use it as something to say this is where I started in my 9th grade writing career look at how much I’ve grown as a writer.

I also wanted to become a police officer since a very young age and I always stuck with that. My aunt was a police officer and she ended up ranking up and is now high up in the Philadelphia Police Department and I always looked up to her as a role model because of how much she always used to put on the line working out in philly. I also found out how much police officers really do. Like it’s more than just arresting people. It’s a pretty difficult job and I am interested in the challenge.

This 8th grade year and my entire middle school experience was a fun time and a blast. I hope I get to experience In high school. The one question for high school is will it be a drastic change. In this bit of writing from my humanities I asked a big question.

For my passion, I have chosen to be a track and field sprinter. Why did I choose this? The reason I have chosen this topic is because I like to run and I am currently doing well on sprinting. What had led me to this passion?

For a long while, during my time in middle school and the start of high school, the thought of doing really well in school never dawned on me. I’m the kind of person that always think about life in the near future, never extending far enough to think about what I really want to do and where I want to go. My grades had always been average, never dropping low enough to hurt my future but also never rising high enough to push me far, until I reached tenth grade. My laziness got to me and I just didn’t care anymore. My GPA dropped so low, seeing it can make anyone gasp.

A huge number of kids that are going on to junior Think the won’t be able to survive, most of them are scared to come because they fear that they won’t have enough time between classes, Not opening your locker, and lastly they fear that they will be squashed or pushed by the 8th graders! These are the steps on how to survive middle school. When I came to middle school I was pretty scared to but I survived! The first thing I had trouble with was that I couldn’t get my locker open, every time I tried I couldn’t open it

In the duration of my middle school years, I maintained excellent grades, except I had just one issue that held me back from a satisfying life. That issue was the fact that friends came very hard to me in my middle school years. Before my struggles at my middle school, Trafton, I had a very productive social life in the Elementary school I attended, Roberts Elementary. Here, it was very easy to make friends and have a great social life, since no hard work was required as a kid. Middle school, however, was a great challenge for me.

Honestly at first I wanted to be a lifeguard for the money but now it's become more about keeping people safe than my paycheck.
