This 8th grade year and my entire middle school experience was a fun time and a blast. I hope I get to experience
In high school. The one question for high school is will it be a drastic change.
In this bit of writing from my humanities I asked a big question. Is it a drastic change? Well now I have the answer to that question. Yes it is a big change from middle school. For example there is only 4 periods in a day each 1 hour and 25 min. Also lunch is around 10 am instead of 11 and you only get one break instead of 2. I think the biggest change is the amount of homework compared to middle school and also remembering to do it. One thing to help me with that will probably be a planner. The things that I’m going to miss in middle school would
As a young aspiring musician in middle school, I wanted to start a band desperately. Instead, I was known as Emerson Middle School 's’ music freak. I posted flyers in businesses around my hometown and online ads. I wanted to be like Amy Lee from Evanescence terribly, but my taste in music was different than most people. When my fellow classmates heard about my compositions and ideas, they thought it was a joke.
Lots of people say that middle school is hard, has lots of responsibilities and you have to be on time for everything. Then I thought there weren 't serious till I actually went to middle school myself. Soon after elementary I went to a middle school that I went to was called Lincoln middle school, it wasn’t a big school, but it was a decent school. When I first went into that building I was excited to make new friends and meet my teacher, but then this lady that was the 6th grade dean(consular) gave me this piece of paper that had many classes on it and I ask her “why there are so many classes?”
Honestly, this may surprise you, but honestly, I am sad to leave the middle school. I have had many good memories in my times at the middle school, but I have also had some not so good memories. Even though I dread coming to school everyday, the teachers, the staff members, and the students make it a lot better. The best memories I have had at the middle school deal with Cougar News, Yearbook, and Junior Honor Society.
The transition from middle school to high school is what shaped me the most and this adjustment has changed me in both good and bad ways. As a freshman, I enrolled in a private school, called Bridgemont High School. It was a very small school and did not have the same help as the public schools offered. I didn 't have an ELD class and classes providing extra help were limited. Eld means einglish language development, these classes are classes to help develop your english speaking skills even though i can speak english i had poor grammar.
Every student starting middle school has a conflict in making new friends the first days of school. Me myself also had problems making new friends because I was very shy. Fortunately I had one of my friends from elementary school. Although I'd love to tell you the way I made friends I changed over the year to survive middle school.
One difference between eigth grade and nineth grade is that just one assignment can bring your entire grade for that class done. In middle school, the average assignment wouldn't really
It was first day of middle school, my mother used to pick me after school but now wasn 't able to so I had to start riding the bus. I 've never road the bus to my house before so I was scared. Once the bell rang for school to get let out I walked outside along with the other kids to find my bus, 210. I spent about 20 minutes looking for my bus

Middle school was extremely ardous for me . I constantly had to write essays every single night because we read one novel every week. It seemed like I could never have a break from writing. The sheer amount of homework was nerve-wracking because I never expected this much homework. I remember expressing some of my my thoughts in my journal such as how hard writing essays was and how challenging my math tests were.
The school work was a huge difference from elementary school. Teachers expected more of you and that seemed to be the biggest change. The homework load grew significantly between the two stages and this seemed to be where the ability to push through hard times was tested. My hard work ethic in school was forged through this tough load. The morals of growing up as my own human being were also tested.
Many people believe that the transfer of high school is hard. What many people fail to see it that it 's only the advancement in technology and the fast paced school lifestyle. This year at Poston Butte High School our school had about 500 incoming freshman which compared to last year is low… Now, taking into account that a large majority of our students come from the same school district and the same 8th grade class, Everyone 's transition could be considerably same. But was Poston butte all that they have been expecting.
How did middle school change me? Middle school changes people, people lose friends in middle school, and people learn that a good life isn’t just handed to them. I learned this lesson to. And not only by my teachers, for example ,my soccer coach. He taught me that if I don’t work hard for a place on the team, and if i didn’t I might not even play at all.
In the future, once I enter high school, I will be familiar with the majority of the material that a high school student must learn in later years. However, because I attended middle school, I will enter the ninth grade having learned some of the material. The lessons learned in middle school are not specific. I develop strong writing skills that I can apply in high school. Additionally, middle school taught me the importance of time management and organization, which are crucial skills that will help me succeed in high school and beyond.
The first day of middle school for me was both terrifying and exciting. I made a lot of new friends within the year. I remember the first day very well. I had woke up at 5;30 a.m. I was extremely tired.
There will be a lot of tutoring opportunities if you are struggling with a subject. Also, know your teachers and coaches are there for you. The social life in high school will change drastically over the years. The friends you have now 90% of the time won’t be the friends you end up with.
