Nurse Career Goal

In the student’s future nursing practice in the E.R, this could be a tremendous benefit. The student plans to expand their health care knowledge and becoming a nurse practitioner may be an option. If this is a career path of the student, they would be able to help in E.R settings with diverse patients, if that be traumatic injury or mental illness. The student overall would be able to help both groups of patients and provide help to move mental health care in the United States in the direction that Australia is

My goal is to obtain a career that will allow me to help people. I 've always taken joy in the nurturing and care of others, therefore I will pursing a career that aligns well with those qualities. Careers such as a registered nurse, or a psychologist of some sort definitely intrigue me, specifically the aspect of these fields that deals with children. Working as a child psychologist, a NI CU nurse, or a pediatric nurse would be a dream come true. Helping to nurture and take care of children is very rewarding in and of itself, although it would be amazing if I could make a career out of it.

I have always had a strong interest and desire to work in the health care field. My professional goal to become a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), along with the desire to acquire evidence-based knowledge, has been especially challenging as I searched for the right college for my advanced degree. The variety of colleges offering this course of study made it hard to decide on the school I wanted to attend. As I narrowed my search, my goal focused on the school that best met my nursing and personal goals, and desires to achieve a higher education as a PMHNP.

I have worked in the healthcare field now for 23 years. I worked for 2 years as an LPN in a Veteran Affairs Hospital. Following my BSN graduation, I worked as an RN in a variety of specialties before deciding I was ready to advance my knowledge with an MSN degree. I have worked as an FNP in a variety of settings for the past 10+ years. I have spent my entire life hearing discussions related to the challenges of mental health as a profession and the satisfaction that comes from helping others.

Also I chose this career because I enjoy being around other people and I feel like it is a great career path. This career path is a great choice because the more someone shows to the people that they care the more someone will get in return. People will see someone as a great person. Being a RN is a great career for someone who shows up to work and wants to work with

As a nurse, my journey in the field of healthcare has been marked by a fascination and interest in the mental health aspect. The seed of this dream was planted early on in my nursing career, where I witnessed the profound impact that Nurse Practitioners have on patient care outcomes. Their ability to provide holistic, patient-centered care while serving as advocates and educators resonated deeply within me. I was captivated by their comprehensive knowledge, advanced clinical skills, and their ability to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals and communities. I am thrilled to seize this opportunity to return to school and pursue a dream of mine to become a Nurse Practitioner.

Upon graduation from LaGuardia, I plan to begin my career in hospitals and work with children and families as a Registered Nurse. At the same time, I am planning to go at Hunter College to pursue a Bachelor degree in Nursing too. After successfully pursuing the BSN degree, my goal is to study for Physician Assistant and become one. The reason I am choosing this long way is that I want to gain experience as a Registered nurse in hospitals while continuing my higher education to achieve a degree in Physician Assistant. To prepare myself for the nursing career, I have been working on my weaknesses from the very first day of my college.

A career as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is a natural extension of my personal, educational, and research experiences. Although my path to nursing has not been a straight line, every experience that put me on this path has shaped my passion and dedication to psychiatric nursing. After losing loved ones to suicide at a young age, I made a promise to myself and to them that I would dedicate my life to helping individuals struggling with mental illness. This promise led me to study Psychology at UC Berkeley, where I fell in love with clinical research investigating the efficacy of treatments for mental illness.

My Intent to Be a Nurse Practitioner Coming from a third world country where there aren’t many opportunities for work and funding for education, proceding to nursing school was a grand opportunity. The privilege to attend a government subsidized school where top students in the region compete to get into the program that allowed only 60 students per year was indeed a blessing. As clinical rotations began, what was once considered a mere opportunity evolved into a true passion for caring as I truly love and enjoy nursing and helping people.

Hi everyone, My name in Oscar E Hermosillo and I am from the NAU-Yuma nursing program. I have lived since I was 7 years old in a small town called Somerton which is roughly about 10-15 miles south of Yuma. My goals for future nursing practice are kind of up in the air right now.

I am a very goal orientated and hard working student who has a passion for helping others. I am interested in becoming a nurse because it gives me the chance to help others feel better and regain their strength. I grew up around my aunt who suffered from Breast Cancer; it was very tough to see a woman who had some much strength and energy struggle with just getting up out of bed. It hit our family hard, my aunt was the person to go to when you just needed a hug or a laugh. To see her in pain hurt everyone.

My main career choice is already chosen for my future. I’ve decided I want to be a nurse but, to be more specific I want to be a FNP, Family Nurse Practitioner. I’ve known for years that a nurse is what I want to be, but I could never decide which type of nurse I wanted to be. Going to the doctor one day my nurse came in and I watched everything she did and asked questions. I started doing that every time I went to the doctor.

My career goal is to become a registered nurse. While I have not currently picked a concentration, I am leaning towards pediatrics or labor and delivery. Going to NYIT would help me with this goal because I would be able to earn my bachelor degree in nursing and then take the NCLEX and hopefully become a licensed, registered nurse. I want to become a nurse in order to help people. Ever since I was a child I have wanted to make a difference and help others who are in need.

Personal Statement I am interested in studying for a degree in the Mental Health Nursing in your university, and I would like to make my career in this noble profession. I first considered nursing as a career some years ago, after I lost my father to a chronic kidney disease. The role played by the nurses in terms of care while he was in hospital and after his death was quite overwhelming. Although I had my first degree in Agricultural Economics, but this nothing in compare to the passion I later developed for nursing after the death of my father. I have since developed myself in health and social care sector by training and updating my skills.

Nursing is not just about treating the ill, it is focused on the quality of care that we are delivering to our patient according to their individualized needs. Nursing is much more than just the physical aspects it also what we see internal wellness. Nursing has given me new challenges every day, pushed me to my limits. Nursing has taught me to think critically and used my clinical judgment.
