In this video we see the lige of michelangelo. A man who excelled in many genres in the art field. Michelangelo was a lonely and missunderstood man. He was able to express hims self thrpugh his art. This man was one of the few who art was able to become legendary. His creations include biblical scenes, a heroic sculpture by the name of david and the central plan piece for the cathedral in saint peters, rome. His art still endorses till this day and many wonder what inspired this man. Michelangelo was able to express himself through his work.
Michelangelo was born during the Renissance in March 6 , 1475. He was born into an unlikely family back round, with no experience with art. His father Ludivico was a petty beuracrat and servinf as a mayor of small town near florence. Little is told about his mother Franchesca other than she was always ill and married very young. Michelangelos mother could not nurse him when she was born since she had fallen off a horse three months in her pregnancy michelangelo was born. In fact, when michelangelo was born he was sent off to a village in the mountains of setillana to be taken care of by weaponers. Some can say he was inspired there and even himsef recalls that if any good that came from him was thanks to satillana. He was later burned. Durind this time florence was invaded by france in and Michelangelo left the city. He went Rome where he was given persion to bring to life his spiritual awerness. The pietta completed in 1500 , shows the virgin mary cradlng the body of christ. This picture was so life like that audience in that time were stunned. It would be nearly impossible to find another piece of art that emphezised so much on the flesh, bones and veins like Michelangelo did.
