Michael Mumford says – “creativity is the process of producing something that is both original and worthwhile or which is characterized by originality and expressiveness and imaginative.” He further adds that creativity involves the production of novel & useful products.
Wikipedia defines creativity as “a phenomenon where something new and valuable is created (such as an idea, a joke, an artistic or literary work, a painting or musical composition, a solution, an invention etc.). The ideas and concepts so developed can be anything, but most often, they become something we can see, hear, smell, touch, or taste.

CREATIVITY & INNOVATION:
Sometimes, People confuse creativity with innovation but they are different.
Creativity is the idea whereas innovation is putting those ideas into places. Innovation is necessary to maintain a competitive edge and requires creative approaches and options for adaption.

WHY SOME PEOPLE ARE MORE CREATIVE THAN OTHERS?
According to Mel Rhodes –“The most dominant factors while deciding the creativity of a person can be decided using 4p’s-process, product, person and place.
