Some people may believe that freedom is being able to be rude to innocent people or being able to call others slurs or make offensive comments all while hiding behind the phrase “But it’s a free country.” But what freedom actually is, to me at least, is the gift to do whatever you want to do as long as it’s not hurting anyone else. It’s being able to love who you want, express yourself however you desire to, use whatever pronouns makes you feel better, and practice whatever religion you feel most connected to, as long as you’re not harming yourself or others.
