1. Born into an Catholic Irish-American family of six children and two low class working parents, James "Whitey" Bulger didn't waste any time before ensuing his career in crime. Growing up as a young kid Whitey always had dreams of "running away with the circus" and he did just that at the age of 10. He began to get into street fights and stealing and quickly at the age of 13 was when he was first charged and arrested for delinquency and stealing. Things would only escalate from here. He is pictured out front a South Boston home around the time where he first joined a local street gang, then referred to as the "Shamrocks", where he would start building his criminal reputation with charges like armed robbery, battery and assault, larceny, and forgery. This assasination caused a lot of drama within the Winter Hill Gang, it resulted in Whitey and Flemmi's cover being broken and the rest of the affiliates of the gang felt as if they had been betrayed by their leader in Whitey as well as Flemmi. 2. Emmett Till was born July 25, 1941 to Louis and Mamie Till. He was a self-assured young man who loved to be the center of attention. In July of 1955, Emmett turned 14 and in August his great uncle, Moses Wright, visited Chicago and invited both Emmett and his cousin Wheeler to visit him down in Mississippi. When Mamie and Emmett hugged on the morning when he went to catch the train to Mississippi, neither of them knew it would be the last time they would see each other while Emmett was alive.

NELSON MANDELA Nelson Mandela is one of the influence people in the 20th century politics. One thing that he did for the Africans and affects the world was about to end the apartheid, a system that try to separated the races of black skin over white skin people in South Africa. When his father died the king of his tribe took him in as a favor to Nelson’s father, who had helped him become king of the tribe. At the University College of Fort Hare, Nelson started for a Bachelor of Arts degree, but did not finish because he participated in a boycott. The king was mad when he came back to the Great Place at Mqhekezweni and said that he would arrange marriages for Nelson and Justice, the king’s son and Nelson’s cousin.
