In today’s society there’s many race arose “Black Lives Matter.” There is many cases where there has been “Police Brutality.” There has been more effect on the black community and I believe people focus too much on race and not enough on how to better the police enforcement. Police officers should be trained and displaced. We can’t label all police officers as bad ones and all black men as criminals.

From the countless cases in which excessive force was used such as Michael Brown’s, Eric Garner’s, and Sandra Bland’s, the public has found police brutality to be an increasing problem. There have been plenty of additional situations in which cases have received a lot of media coverage, informing the public of the excessive force some police officers enforce. c. What are people doing to get their voice heard? Breathless accounts of police brutality have recently been made and the public has found it is time to have their voice heard.

Something that the killings have in common is that the individuals were unarmed; killed because police believed that they were in possessions of a weapon. In most cases of police brutality, officers are let off with no consequences for their actions, many are not even persecuted they just receive a get out of jail free card and are told go back to work. So what exactly is Police brutality? The website, lawdictionary says police brutality is the use of excessive and/or unnecessary force by police when dealing with civilians. En.wikipedia states that The term "police brutality" was in use in the American press as early as 1872, when the Chicago Tribune reported on the beating of a civilian under arrest at the Harrison Street Police Station. Since then we have had multiple incidents dealing with police brutality which usually ends the same way.

In America Police Brutality is out of control. It’s a problem in America because of racism, stereotype and disrespect. Majority of the brutality has been done on African American men. It is understandable some american citizens may think police brutality is a problem. In reality its really a problem.

One of the main controversies about the police at this current time is police brutality to minorities and people of color. This has been occurring for many years but it has been specifically now a days brought up back into the view by the public when “brutality” against African Americans occur. Throughout these reasons years it has been put into view but you see more and more everyday. Relating this to history the police force was originally developed back in the day back when the Jim Crow Era was occurring and the police system was enforced by white males where people of color were no where to be seen within the system. What is occurring now is basically a repeat of history from back in the day.

This report is showing light to the communities’ response to police brutality particularly in the black communities and also their encounters with police officers. Police brutality is physical violence and great cruelty demonstrated by a police officer. Police brutality and misconduct have existed for many decades and it even has been broadcasted in news stories over America, but nothing has changed. It has happened predominantly to African Americans in lower-income states. Police officers are given slaps on the wrist for taking a life or injuring an innocent person.

Law enforcement is ensuring an act of obedience to the law. Police officers often take advantage of enforcing the law and end up using violence when it 's not necessary. According to the Washington post ( 2015 ) every 28 hours an unarmed colored person is killed by a police officer. I think it is time for these and other victims who were treated unjustly by police officers to get justice. These deadly law enforcement incidents must come to an end.

It’s a topic that segregates communities and makes each other their enemy. Specifically, a white officer has been the enemy of the black community. Unfortunately, the tension between police and blacks grew over the past few decades.

[ Imagine this scenario: you are complying with the police that are screaming at you, guns pointed at you, screaming “please don 't shoot” and trying your best to do what the police are asking. Daniel Shaver was an unarmed man fatally shot for no good reason. He was complying with the police officers orders and was begging for his life, screaming “please don’t shoot,” before he was fatally shot 5 times. Unfortunately, this is just one example of police brutality, an instance when police use unnecessary force when either they are unarmed or are complying with orders. Today I want to tell you of the injustice of police brutality, the people it affects, and how just asking the right questions could make sure that police are punished for their crimes.

Police Brutality is an ongoing problem and existent concern in the United States and should be resolved immediately. Law enforcement must function as an element that consists of organized and civilized officers. The presence of police brutality is becoming more of an issue as society grows. The problem posed by the illegal exercise of police power is an ongoing reality for individuals of a disfavored race, class, or sexual orientation. Police brutality must be stopped so that police do not forget who they are serving – not themselves, but the public.
