The history of America is riddled with wars. With reasons being from land rights to independence. The French and Indian War was one of the first wars within American History. This was the first war to be over land, but not the last within United States history. The French and Indian War included the French and Indians on one side, and the American and the British on the other. This set the foundation to the American Revolution. The American Revolution was the war for independence against the British. The whole basis of the Fourth of July. The French and Indian War influenced the American Revolution because it caused tariffs, loss of salutary neglect, and unwanted land delegation from the British. Throughout the mid 18th century there was a big argument about land and power between the French and the British. This land included the upper land of the Ohio River Valley as well as the rest because the more land someone had the more power they also had. The reason why they were competing for this land was because the British were feeling threatened due to the fact that the French were taking away the land they felt were theirs by right. This also brought a feeling of threat to the British because the French were gaining power and control in trading. The start of the French and Indian War was caused by the dispute between the French and British about who was going to have more land since the more land someone had, the more powerful they were.
The french and indian war started out in the Ohio River Valley. The french were in a fur trade, were the trade fur. But the british wanted not to just share the fur trade ,but own it. Which made the french furious, because they founded the fur trade and they were not just going to give it up that fast. So once they found this out, the war began.
The french and Indian war alter the political and ideological relations between Great Britain and the american colonies in many different ways. The war enable Britain to be more involved with colonial political and economic affairs. After the war Britain also ended their policy of salutary neglect. After a while their plan to make money of the colonies soon lead to the revolutionary war because it increased tension and outrage among the american colonies.
The French and Indian War altered the relations of the American Colonies and Britain through political, economic, and geographical issues. At the start of the French and Indian War the French owned a big majority of land but the during the war the French lost their land to the English. The Treaty of Paris in 1763 gave the English, the French land of North America (Doc A).
The end of the French and Indiana war can be seen as the start of the issues leading up to the American Revolution. With the British driving the French from North America it basically left Great Britain with control of the continent. This war also left Great Britain in an economic crisis. They now had to not only pay for the war but they needed funds for the constant support they were providing America.
Imagine what living in the American colonies during the seventeen-hundredth would be like, it was a period of chaos and instability due to the rise of a national American identity within the colonists caused by the separation between the colonies and Britain. Some major key events also contributed to the already growing tension, the French and Indian War, many unfair taxation put on the colonists by Britain, and the ratification of the Constitution. Although many lives were lost during the process, but through hard-fought battles, belief of freedom, and unity of the American colonists, everything eventually began to settle down and the colonists gained their independence from Britain, creating their own nation and their own form of government. The French and Indian War is what most considers to be what sparked the American revolution. The French and Indian War (also known as the “Seven-year War”) was a turning point for the colonists as they realized their true purpose coming to America, creating their own colony. After the Seven Year War, the colonists not only faced social challenges, but political and economic challenges as well. As a result, the colonists developed a negative relationship toward the “Crown” causing them to progressively become independent and purse their own destiny. After this crucial victory, Britain gained new territory from the French and was faced with additional challenges.

Even though, the French and the British came to North America in order to get power (Imperialism) their got opposites views and/or ways on how to get it. The British came seeking land because they thought that North America has a great vacant wilderness where the native American were frequently seen as wild savages. The French wanted to exploit North America’s riches through trade. So, the English and French were competing for trading rights and lands in North America. This conflict and/or manifestation of same forces and pressures that exploded in The Seven Years’ war which was about imperialism, In North America was known as the French and Indian War.
It is our opinion that the event that most significant role in causing the revolutionary war was the French and Indian war because, during our research we found that the French and Indian war was the cause of a American revolution because of disputes over subsequent frontier policy and paying the war’s expenses led to colonial discontent. There was more causes than just the French and Indian war it was all the taxes from the stamp act as well as the sugar act that put a large amount of taxes that the british tried to collect taxes that the american people considered harsh, and what led to the revolutionary war. The cause of the sugar act is protests against the sugar Act developed it was the economic impact rather the constitutional issue
The American Revolution was one of the most important wars that was fought in the history of the United States. The Patriots and the British had two different views on how things should be run in America. Many people have different opinions on why, where and how the war was started. There were a few key battles that helped to influence the outcome of the war. The outcome of the American Revolutionary War influenced the United States way of Freedom and the way the American people live today.
The war was a turning point of French forces in North America, which confirmed British controlled the half eastern part of North America. The French and Indian war was the favorable to Britain, which balance the power of occupied lands in North America.
To begin, the French and Indian War was a major conflict that set in motion what would eventually become the Revolutionary War. The American Revolution The French and Indian War impacted the American Revolution in many ways. Britain incurred a large debt from the cost of the war and the taxes that they imposed on the colonists created feelings of anger and rebellion that led to the revolution. As a result of the French and Indian war, the British were not at full strength which allowed the actions of the colonists to be more effective. Because of the outcome of the war, France was willing to help the colonists. Without the much needed help from the French the colonist may have never won the war.
The French and Indian War was important to the American Revolution because the debt from the war was the reason that Parliament started taxing the colonists. Also, the French and Indian War made Britain very weak, making the colonists’ actions work a whole lot better. Since France was not happy with the outcome of their war with Britain this was a main reasons for France’s interest in helping the now Americans throughout the Revolutionary War, which was very important to the colonies’ victory. The reason why Britain started to tax the colonists was because of the debt resulting from the French and Indian War. The first tax was the the tax on sugar, which was put on the colonists to help pay off the war debt.
