Desmond Holmes came from a long line of aristocrats, however his distant relatives would most likely turn in their graves if they knew what had become of the clan. The family had fallen on hard times; they were poor. Not poor like the “unfortunate” citizens of Oftbrook, Virginia, whose hardship consisted mostly of not being able to eat out every night. The Holmes were outsiders, and none of them were particularly bright, especially Desmond. Being an outsider makes one a target, but who could be a shooter in small town Virginia?

Although the prosecution claims he is guilty they are wrong because Mr. Alfaro is a exterminator who was seen around Mr. Adams drink, Mr. Mack had a motive to kill, and Mrs. Reid was a close relative and believed she would inherit his wealth. The strongest reason in this case is that Mr. Alfaro is an exterminator who deals with rat poison and was seen pouring Mr. Adams a drink 5 minutes before he died. It was noted that the rat poison found in Mr. Adams drink was only accessible for exterminators and Mr. Alfaro was an exterminator. In addition, the police officer and the coroner determined that the cause of death was rat poison.
The widow soon went missing and was never seen again. Herman told those that asked that she moved to California but it was never proven. After becoming the owner of the drugstore he purchased an empty lot across the street and soon built a 3 story hotel which the neighborhood called the castle. He put on Police SWAT gear, loaded up his guns, and walked back toward the theater. Before he entered he threw a canister of tear gas into the audience. My first reason is, Mr. Alfaro is an exterminator and the rat poison is only available to exterminators.
The documentary H. H. Holmes: America’s First Serial Killer follows the life of the brilliantly sadistic criminal mastermind, Herman Webster Mudgett, notoriously known under his alias, Henry Howard Holmes. Through his manipulative tactics, expertise in chemistry and anatomy, and meticulously devised creations, America would encounter one of its most monstrous and depraved beings to ever taint the nation with horror. Like many serial killers, H. H. Holmes had a traumatic childhood of receiving abuse from his parents and peers. With both of his parents being devout Methodists, a Protestant Christianity denomination, he had a profound religious upbringing, which appears paradoxical to his fascination with death as an adult.
