The novel Harry Potter and the Half-Blood-Prince by J.K. Rowling follows the life of a young wizard as he attends the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry is constantly under speculation of others as he is rumored to be the one that is prophesied to defeat the infamous Dark Lord Voldemort who has been terrorizing the wizarding world for decades. As Harry studies for classes with the looming threat of destruction hovering above him at all times, he attempts to uncover dark wizards within the school and learn about Lord Voldemort’s grim past. Many times, in even the first few chapters, people are publicly speculating the fact that Harry could be “The Chosen One.” Dumbledore even tries to use this in his own favor by using Harry to persuade an old friend to come out of retirement and return to Hogwarts, “You showed Horace exactly how much he stands to gain by returning to Hogwarts”(74). Yet, all he does is shrug it off and move on with his day. Then, later in the book, Romilda Vane attempts to drug Harry with a love potion when she had no previous interest in him”. This particular action almost lead to the death of his best friend, Ron. Does he even confront Romilda about the fact that she tried to drug him, which could have lead to the untimely passing of his first and best friend? No, he just goes to his classes. Another testament of his nearly saintly level of patience is that all throughout the novel he suspects Draco Malfoy of being in league with the man who killed his parents. Everytime he expresses this it immediately gets brushed off as as silly or unfounded “Potter, I appreciate you telling me this, but we cannot point the finger of blame at Mr. Malfoy purely because he visited the shop where this necklace was purchased”(255). He never once threw a fit about it, he merely kept digging for
“‘It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.’” Rowling, J. K., and Mary GrandPreÌ. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. New York: Arthur A. Levine , an Imprint of Scholastic, 1999. Print. This quote is from the series Harry Potter.
Even after learning he is a wizard, Harry is forced to repress that fact every summer when he must return to his aunt and uncle’s house to await the next school year. This forces Harry into a routine that is tedious, difficult, and borderline oppressive. While at his aunt and uncle’s house, Harry cannot act freely nor express his wishes, desires, or needs. Because of this situation, Harry is always glad to return to Hogwarts, breaking him out of his backbreaking routine and into a world that is ever changing and unpredictable. Here not only does Harry have an unprecedented level of independence, but he is not required to conform to what an uncaring authority figure thinks; the teachers at Hogwarts tend to be fairly forgiving of Harry’s behavior.
Adolescence is an interesting age filled with new experiences, emotions, and developments in all areas of a young person 's life. In the film series, Harry Potter, the young adolescent Harry Potter is no stranger to these complex developmental issues. In fact, there are many theories that can help categorize the many changes and behaviors Harry Potter presents throughout the film. The first theory, researched by Diane Baumrind, which is important to look at deals not directly with Harry Potter, but with the parenting style of his aunt and uncle. After this discussion, a conversation about Erikson 's eight stages of psychosocial development is important in determining how his past influences his present actions and behaviors.

Keeping It Simple You would be hard pressed to find anyone who does not live under a rock that has not at least heard of Harry Potter, if not read a book or seen a movie. The series has become a cultural phenomenon that has people of all ages as loyal fans worldwide. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was the first book in the series by J. K. Rowling that had to have some qualities to capture audiences. Sure, it is a book about magic and adventures, but there are plenty of books about magic in the fantasy genre that never will have the following that Harry Potter does, so what did Rowling do to make this a meaningful story?
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban truly accentuates time and clocks, which is very fitting since Book 3 will presumably be recognized as the Harry Potter book with the time travel. The manipulation of time progresses the plot and many small mysteries were solved due to time turner appearance in story. The paper studies the plot progress because of manipulating time using a time turner and plot holes that aroused due to its appearance. Data Analysis: Observing the popularity and the interest of the arrangement, one may scrutinize the clarifications for such an enormous acknowledgment. One of the conceivable responses to such an enquiry would be the mix of enchantment and reality that Rowling has made through her dialect.
Harry Potter’s narrative follows Campbell’s pattern. In Harry’s case, he is living with his Muggle relatives, when letters from Hogwarts arrive to notify him that he has been accepted to the wizarding school (cf. Ahmed, 2012,

Hermione and Ron both tackle specific challenges that Harry would have been unable to face on his own, specifically Professor McGonagall's challenge of the giant wizarding chess and Professor Snape's challenge of the potions. In this case, Harry's friendship with Ron and Hermione saves his life and allows him to keep Voldemort from finding the Sorcerer's

In Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone J.K. Rowling portrays Harry becoming a hero in the wizard world from being an underdog in the “muggle world”. As Harry and his friends discover that an evil person is trying to obtain the Sorcerer’s Stone from Hogwarts, they rush to figure out who and why someone would be after it. When Harry learns Lord Voldemort is behind this plan to obtain the Sorcerers’s stone, he did not back down. Harry is able to face against Lord Voldemort with confidence because of his friends always protecting him and helping him figure out any problem he faces. However, Harry’s bravery allows him to defeat Professor Quirrell and Lord Voldemort.
J.K. Rowling is an excellent author; one of the things that I adore most about her is her foreshadowing. J.K. Rowling began Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with just an ordinary gardener being brutally killed by Lord Voldemort. This emphasized that evil was approaching and Harry was in great danger. It was even stranger that Harry’s scar started to hurt since it doesn’t unless Lord Voldemort is around. She foreshadowed the snares of the Death-Eaters and Lord Voldermort arising again.
Harry Potter is great fictional character that most young readers should begin to understand his purpose there. J.K. Rowling has given readers many opportunities to consume and love her magic based books but with the constant use of wizardry, many religions have based their beliefs that Harry Potter is a Satanic and demonic book. The purpose of the paper is to point out the argument of both sides: the religious and fiction side. While both sides have valid points, each side cancels each other out in their own different ways. Both sides have every right to believe what they want.
The most inspirational character to me would be Harry Potter. He long believed that he was a unloved outcast by his aunt and uncle, but one day was told by a gruff, loving half giant on his 11th birthday, “you’re a wizard Harry.” from that moment on had changed harry’s life and so of the readers of harry potter, As we grew up with harry, and his friends Hermione Granger, Ron weasley, and his beloved teachers of Hogwarts School of witchcraft and Wizardry. In these tumultuous times, when people all over the world are so divided, politicians sell their principles for money and prolonged power and many world leaders have forsaken the greater good for the good of the few, we can imagine a world where people choose to be brave, who do the right thing even when it is incredibly hard and against all the odds and were often almost completely alone in doing it. At Hogwarts, a few excellent people fought incredibly had for years because they believed in the greater good, and in an inclusive magical world.
Harry has a different life at his new school, Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and his friendship with two good friends named Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. The different
