Another factor that gave testament to the fact that many people were consuming illegal liquor during this period was the fact that thousands of deaths were attributed to tainted liquor. One can assume that prohibition caused the population to view alcohol as “forbidden fruit”. This caused them to take risks where they might not have even considered using alcohol before. Whiskey sold by bootleggers often made people sick as they were tainted with many poisonous additives. Many bootleggers stole industrial alcohol, industrial methanol or wood alcohol and redistilled it to make it drinkable.
Discussion Question 1. I wash my hands several times in a day like before eating, when I come back my house, and before cooking. My opinion about washing my hands is changed after reading the article. I thought soap and hot water kill germ regardless how much I spend time on washing my hands. However, crucial things are spending a few extra minutes each day washing hands and doing it correctly to avoid getting cold.
Teaching children to drink safely starting while they’re 18 and living with their parents will help them develop healthy habits which will stick with them, helping them drink
Hello, I hope you all doing great. I was working tonight at the ER. I was doing some patient work at the front desk computer, and I was showing Darl how to register the patients. Then I used the hand sanitizer bottles to clean my hand, and My hand smelled funny( bad smell) and the it dropped in my clothes. I washed my hand 10 times and still the same and I had to take a shower and change my clothes.
