National Honor Society is a reputable program to be invited to, and an honor to be accepted into. With the core values of excellent character, admirable service, exemplary leadership, and disciplined scholarship, the National Honor Society provides a group that shows the dedication and diligence of a collective student body. The opportunity of being admitted to the NHS is something that I hold in great regard, and I feel it necessary to prove what I can offer to the NHS, and how I would hope to do so. As a student and budding adult, two ideas I hold dear are the importance of creativity and family. I believe that these, as core values, could be a beneficial focus for the National Honor Society. To create an environment of united students who think creatively, aiding in the betterment of themselves and their future, would be my envisioned goal for the National Honor Society. Connection with our surroundings at large benefits these young minds, and inspires us to do more, and to do better. I want to find more of a community connection with the students I work with and where I live. These opportunities would be incredibly eye-opening and would get me out of my shell. In these ways, by involving myself with others, I can get job experience, create connections with others, and even get my name out there for my art and my academics. I would want to make these connections with our local scene and students so alluring that it would inspire future NHS members to do the same. To foster the same creative drive and value of family would be the one thing I would like to carry through to future generations of NHS
