I am going to be telling you about an amazing person who was our first president of the United States of America. Who is strong, caring, and is loyal to our country. And how he came to be a president and a great person that he came to be, George Washington. How his hard work paid off, and also why people wanted him to be president. In this paper I am going to be telling you about how George Washington became president, how he became christian, and also a modern day example of him. George Washington was born in Virginia 1732, to a wealthy plantation owner. In his young life he studied many academics, but his favorite of them all was math. And also he learned about the natural environment. He learned many things and was a smart kid. At the same time his father raised him to attend church every Sunday, but even though his father took him to church he wasn’t firmly in faith with God. He never studied the bible a lot, or even read it, the only times he really learned about his Word was when he went to church. Washington focused most his education on preparing to be soldier, a farmer, and a statesman. With what he knew about the Bible, he knew that he could apply the Scriptures in normal, everyday life as a soldier, farmer, and statesman.
